The Next Life

- -After 15 years- -

"Happy birthday Rina... happy birthday Rina.. happy birthday dear Rina happy birthday to you" the singing of my mom wakes me up. Yay! it's my birthday! I'm already 10 years young now! 

mommy's bringing a cake into my bed.

"did you bake this mom?" I asked. while scratching my eyes to dump away my sleepiness

"yep specially for you my baby" my mom smiled and I noticed the wrinkles on her face nyay! 

"yay! thank you mom!" she put the cake on my side table and hugged me.

"you're already 1 decade and half a decade old now girl." then my mom laughed. how funny is it huh? -_- I just smirked at her.

"wait, what time is already mom!?" I asked 

"it's already 6:3.."  then I suddenly ran out of the room. I'm going late! I can't be late it's my birthday!! you know! my classmates might be stealing all the gift for me!!!!!!!!

- -at the train station- -

"train train why so late. ah! please hurry!" I was already jumping while waiting. well I just can't wait! I'm already late you know T^T

"ahh miss?" I was shocked when someone pokes me. 

"wha..." when I turned back, I can't move, I feel something strange. it seems like every person behind him are fading away. all the lights are in, I can feel light here in my heart. then now, I can see and hear fireworks, then balloons are flying in. a sweet melody of music captures my ears.

"miss? miss?" I suddenly get back to life when I noticed he's already shaking me.

"ah hey! hi! you're gorgeous, wait what?" I suddenly covered my mouth then he laughed.

"you're shoe lace" then I saw my shoe lace unraveled. he suddenly bent his knees and laced it back to it's place.

"there you go" he said and smiled to me. he seemed too familiar. but I can't remember seeing him before.

"thanks" I said.

"Toru, Toru Yamashita"  I suddenly felt dizzy, I am getting flashback on my mind of scenes I never know that happened.

"YOU'RE SO NOOB! DO YOU THINK THAT TORU CAN BE YOURS?" she said and that made me cry. I can really feel tears coming from my eyes. I can't say a word, I can already feel blood on my back.

Mami just stared at me for a second.

"do you think you can live now?" she whispered on my ears, and that made me shivers, my knees are already shaking, I need toru now! why Toru is not here! Toru! I need you!

'Haru! Haru! wake up!' I can hear him calling me, he's calling me

"I love you so much Haru! please don't leave me!" he's crying.

"you know that I am now ready to leave Mami please just don't leave me" I can feel the pain and tears.

"Haruna Ono, I was too late" then he stood up and slapped the girl infront of him...

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!?" He shouted at the girl

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN SHE LOVES YOU!" the girl shouted in reply. and now I can see myself lying on the floor. drowning in my own blood. am I already dead? why am I not seeing any light? why am I seeing this?

"no Mami! this is selfishness! this is foolishness! this is beyond my expectations Mami!" then the guy hugged Mami.

"and I would do in return..." the girl he hugged slowly getting down, there are blood coming out from her mouth. until she hardly feel on the floor.
