Beyond Logic [Uchiha Itachi]

Chapter 7~Dark Guardian Angel!

_"Cut it off Samehada!" Shouted the Hoshigaki launching his attack toward the lac.

He swayed Samehada before putting it in his shoulder grinning widely.

_"Hiiin, it is as if it never got broken." He said gladly, behind him, Itachi and Ei stood side by side looking at him.

Itachi was having his right hand off his cloak leaning comfortably on a button of his cape.

Ei nodded.

After they got an early breakfast, Kisame went on trying his repaired sword in the lac near the house.

_"As promised, here is your price." He handed her Yagura's favourite kunai which held the seal of his power.

Ei checked it out again -as she already did yesterday - to be sure it wasn't a false and finally nodded.

Kisame went back to the lac trying Samehada again, feeding her with his chakra as she liked.

Itachi glanced at Ei.

Ei was looking at the fishman in awe, ninja really were something, they can do incredible things, maybe she can ask them for a clone at least.

_"Ei-san, do you have something you wanna ask us?" Asked Itachi shocking the girl in the way.

And that was visible, so much that it surprised the Uchiha.

She looked at him with wide eyes.

Ei had always been a girl full of emotion, but nobody had ever noticed it, usually people doesn't even notice her behaviour, nevertheless, her closest people did, but never someone noticed her anxiousness.

Her silence was synonymous to her being all fine.

_"Ei-san?" Inquired Itachi.

That was unusual for her to stay quiet for long when asked a question, Itachi had noticed.

Ei nodded.

_"I indeed wanted to ask you something." She said excited, her eyes still expressionless.

Itachi looked at her according her his attention.

'She really is full of emotion. ' He noted pretty surprised.

_"But it's maybe impossible for you." She noted thoughtful.

He was just looking at her.

_"Well, the shop is targeted by some robbers, I don't have the power to push them back, I would pay you your effort of course, however, I can't leave the place until spring, because I need to wait for something, but I can't take so much of your time." She said sadly.

Itachi looked away sounding amused.

_"It was why you were so anxious." He said, not unkindly.

Ei's heart skipped a beat at the kindness she noted in his usually toneless voice.

She tilted her head to the side, shyly nodding.

_"It will get better." He just said.

Ei looked at him.

_"Kisame." Said the young Uchiha wearing the right sleeve of his cloak walking away.

Ei looked confused at the young Uchiha's back.

Kisame grinned then followed his teammate, putting Samehada in his back.

Ei politely bowed to Kisame who passed beside her, to witch he nodded.

Itachi shot Ei one last glance and she bowed to him smiling slightly.

He confused her, but she didn't got upset or angry, that he wasn't going to help her, logically they couldn't stay this long, they had their lives and mission too, they were busy ninja, so she understood him and his reasons, she instead gladly accepted his word of encouragement as he told her that it would get better.
