And That was you, Natsu..Etherious Natsu Dragneel.
Natsu woke up by throwing off the covers and panting quickly, sweat running down his face. He propped his legs against his chest, curling up in a ball. He closed his eyes to try to hide away the visions. A single tear escaped his eye and slid down his cheek. "It was just a dream.." He whispered, trying to remind himself. Yet, it felt so real..

There was a soft knock on the door and Natsu felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. The door quietly cracked open as Lucy slid through. "Natsu, is everything alright?" She asked in a gentle voice. He sighed silently in relief. Thank the Gods it was just her..

She walked over to his bed with such a graceful ease, her long ponytail floating behind her like a feather. He blinked as she sat down on the edge of his bed. She looked at him with her soft brown eyes. "Bad dream?" He nodded slowly. However, they were never dreams, they were always nightmares. She bit the bottom of her lip and looked down at the floor. "I still have bad dreams too.." Natsu knew they were probably about losing her celestial spirit, Aquarius, but he wasn't one to say that's what she was dreaming of.

Seeing her here now, sitting on his meddic bed at the guild, made him feel a little dose of happiness inside. Ever since the day he thought he lost her, he knew what he really was. He knew he was right. Zeref had been right. Natsu still doesn't believe that's all he is. A monster. A demon. E.N.D. He's more than that. A human. A dragon slayer. A Fairy Tail mage.

Natsu's lips slowly curled into his well known large grin and gently rested a hand on Lucy's shoulder. She looked at him. "Now is no time to be gloating!" He said, giving Lucy's shoulder a squeeze. "For now, we're safe, we're home, we're together."

She smiled. "Yeah! You're right! Thanks Natsu!" She grabbed his hand which was still resting on her shoulder. "Us Fairy Tail mages never let down." He exclaimed and she nodded. "Hope your wounds get better soon. See ya later, fire breath." She smirked and he grinned back. She walked out of the room smoothly and shut the door gently behind her.

He sighed. He had only told her those things not to only reassure her, but himself. He layed down on his side, pulling the covers over his shoulder. Zeref's voice slowly disappeared from his mind, Lucy's voice replacing it.
See ya later, fire breath.
He smiled, closing his eyes. Maybe, just maybe, he could finally get through the night.
