chapter 4

I start the car and drive off as rose says "I'm sorry Lilly please don't be mad at me I just don't want you to get hurt " I glanced over at her and saw she was on the edge of crying I give her a sad smile and say "its okay that's just the one person I wish you didn't tell but it doesn't matter I'll just avoid him"

The car went silent till rose suddenly brushed out with "where are mommy and daddy?"
I glance at her again and say "rose they have gone to a better place we won't see them for a while "
"Why did they leave us with aunt ivy?"
"They wanted us to keep living our lives"
"Oh"

As I pull up in the drive way I see a man and my aunt talking at the door "rose stay here for a minute come over when I give u a thumbs up "
She nods and I get out and walk to aunt "oh lilly you're back this is our neighbor Mr Jackson he has invited you me and rose to have dinner round there's tonight the have a son your age and a daughter Rose's age isn't that great" she says with a fake voice "um yes that is" I give rose the thumbs up behind my back she ran over and smiled at the man while grabbing my hand.

After a bit of time chatting we said our good byes and went to the house and ivy said " go get changed and try to at least look half decent!" She spat at me when suddenly rose shouted "DON'T TALK TO LILLY LIKE THAT SHE DID NOTHING WRONG AND SHE'S PRETTIER THEN YOU'LL EVER BE"

anger covered Ivy's face as she was about to hit rose when I jumped in the way and said "don't touch her if she does anything bad punish me not her"

She slaps me right across the face and i stumble back then she kicked me in the stomach and punches me and so on until she is satisfied with what she's done and tells well yells at us to get changed.

I went upstairs still in pain and took a five minute shower and quickly got changed into a skater skirt and a white t-shirt with black converses. I put my makeup on to cover up my now bruised face and ran to roses room and saw she was sitting on her bed with her head down sad.

"Hey roses aren't supposed to be sad what's up princess"
"Lilly you're okay I'm sorry you didn't need to step in"
"Hey shh I didn't have to I wanted to you're my little sister and I don't want u getting hurt now come on let's see what smelly neighbor we have " I scrunch my nose up jokingly she giggles and says "don't worry the won't be as smelly as you"
"Oh yea" I start to tickle her and she starts laughing more "stoppp" I stop after a while and go down stairs with rose behind me.

"Finally you're ready you better be on your best behavior or you'll get it" she glares at us and then we walk to the neighbors.

When the door opened a little girl appeared and yelled "roseeee" and roses smile brightened and she ran to give pearl a hug as I realise it was the girl from earlier I smile and wave and she waves back.

Then a man comes round the door and i realise it is Mr Jackson "glad you could make it you must be rose pearl couldn't stop talking about you" she smiles and says "hello" suddenly someone else pop's round the door and I looked to see that it was yup the one and only Cole Jackson how did I forget that pearl was his sister ugh I'm so stupid.

I start to slowly back away when ivy says
"Where are you going Lilly its this way silly"
"Actually aunt ivy *fake cough* I don't feel to good *fake cough* is ITF okay if I go back home"
"Nonsense you look fine come on" she says while glaring at me I look up to see Cole with his hands in fists and his knuckles white looking at me.

And guess what I did I ran I don't know where I just ran.
