When You Wish Upon a Star

Their Wishes

{Cory's POV}

I sat alone outside in the cold, hoping to see them come back. Even though I knew they wouldn't, I still hoped they'd come back for me, like they said they would. I sigh as I stand up from the ground.

They aren't coming back Cory, you know this already. I mentally scolded myself for being so stupid. I look up to see the stars coming out and remembered that myth, that if you wish on the very first star to come out then it'll come true. "You know what? fuck it... I wish I had someone to love, someone who loves me for me." I hope this works. I think as I walk down the street.

{Nick's POV}

I got home from school to see my parents arguing about something in the kitchen. I walk near the doorway to listen in on their conversation. "YOU CANT DO THAT TO HIM HE'S OUR SON!! WE CAN'T SEND HIM TO MILITARY SCHOOL!!!! BESIDES HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG!!!" My mother exclaimed. "OUR 'SON' IS GAY! HE DESERVES TO DIE!! I'M BEING GENEROUS!! HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE ON THIS EARTH, LET ALONE SURVIVE!! DO YOU THINK GOD WOULD ALLOW A GAY BOY LIKE HIM INTO HEAVEN!!?!?!?"

I snuck up to my room quietly. How'd they find out? Why does my father hate me for it? Mom is right, I've done nothing wrong. I rush to pack all of my essentials into a bag.

_time skip to about midnight_

Its was around midnight, so I grabbed the large duffle bag I had packed my stuff in and walked downstairs, opened the door quietly, and left.

I walked onto the peaceful street, let out a sigh  and said to myself "I wish some one would love me."

{Ashley's POV}

I sat in my room smiling happily. My mom said that I could go out to the store and get my first video game.

Nothing much happens to me, I'm home schooled, I have online friends, my family is rich, so you might be asking "what else could this girl want?" Well, to find love of course!

Just then I see a shooting star, how exciting! I closed my eyes and made a wish. "I wish I could find true love." I said softly. And soon after, I fell asleep.
