Blake watched as Teal walked off to first period and he figured he'd do the same not wanting to be late. He slowly waited for the hallways to become less crowded and once they did he closed his locker walking slowly to Science class.
As he arrived he saw more students milling about slowly going to their seats. "Really! Assigned seats on the first day!" Someone yelled over Blake's shoulder. He turned back to see his friend Shawn Daniels looking very angry. "Our seats are on opposite sides of the room!" Shawn yells once more.
"Good to see you too Shawn." Blake says laughing slightly at his friend.
"Students! Please find your seats in a quick and quiet manner!" The teacher yells trying to get everyone situated. Blake looked over at the middle aged teacher. She had long and straight blonde hair with a few streaks of grey scattered throughout. She also had a slight russian accent and a scar above her left eyebrow.
Blake then slowly found his seat and looked around. It seems the only person he knew in the class was Shawn and he was on the other side of the room. "Great now I'm going to have to be social and meet new people." Blake had never liked socializing with people and only hung out with a few select people he had known for years. Which could explain why Shawn was the only person in class he knew.
But there was one more person he knew but did not want to know. Her name is Julia Blossom she was head of the Cheerleading squad, she is a total think she knows it all. Blake looked across the class one more time and caught Julia staring bluntly at him. When their eyes met she quickly winked at him. Blake turned away repulsed at the show of affection towards him. He looked to the front of the room once again as the teacher started talking.
As science class ended Blake caught up with Shawn and went to talk with him. "Shawn!" Blake yelled as he quickly made his way over to his friend.
"Hey Blake." Shawn says happily as his friend catches up to him. "So that class was really boring." Shawn says slipping a piece of paper into his pocket.
"What you got there?" Blake asks gesturing to the paper halfway in Shawn's pocket.
"A girl's phone number." Shawn says smiling.
"Seriously it's the first day back and you're already looking for a date! You are pathetic Shawn." Blake says laughing at his friends idiocy. "Alright I'm going to second period. I'll see you later."
"See you later Blake." Shawn says walking away smiling.
As Blake walked out of his final class for the day he looked around searching for Teal as they were supposed to meet up after the last period. He continued outside scanning over freshmen's heads looking for his friend. He finally spotted her standing in the shade of a tall oak tree. "Oh hey Blake I was wondering when you would show up." Teal says smiling up at her slightly taller longtime friend.
"Hey Teal. How was your first day back at scho-" Blake was cut off as someone practically tackled him into a quite awkward hug.
"Heyyyyy Blake!" Julia yelled hanging onto Blake's back with a grip of a bear that would not let go of its honey. "Aren't you soooooo happy that was have 3 whole classes together. This is going to be the best school year ever!"
"Yeah sure great." Blake said with pushed happiness "Now can you please get off of me now. I kinda need to breath to stay alive."
"Oh yeah sorry, I'm just so happy that we have three classes together last year we only had one! YAY!!!!!!!!!" Julia squealed and crawled off Blake.
"Yay three classes." Blake muttered "So what are you doing here Julia?" Blake had to keep the conversation away from Teal and him meeting under a tree after school.
"Well its school I am supposed to be here, but I have a question why are you and Teal talking under a tree after school?" Julia said but then suddenly gaped "Blake do you like someone else!"
