3rd person's POV

After receiving his drink, Jungkook immediately went out the cafe. Trying his best not to cry as he remembers the girl he liked turned him down.

(italicized means flashback)

Jungkook bought a bouquet of white and crimson red roses and a box of dark chocolates. With a big smile of his face he headed to Cheri's workplace. He was feeling excited, nervous, happy and sad. His emotions are about to explode. Cheri is a singer and a model. She appeared to some popular k-dramas as cameos too. (Probably why they became so popular because she was in it.)

He was immediately greeted by the staff. When he turned his broad shoulders back, you can hear the ladies gushing with each other and saying, "Kang Cheri is one of a kind!" or "If I'm Kang Cheri, I'd marry off that guy." Jungkook is undeniably handsome and stylish. He's filthy rich too. Some of Cheri's hit songs were produced by him and Agust-D (Yoongi).

He rode an elevator with hus legs constantly feeling soft as noodles and it reached the floor where the the shooting was going on. She was doing an advertisement for Fanta, a soda. He let a heavy sigh out.

"You got this." He said to himself while patting himself on the shoulder with his free hand. He slowly opened the door and sneaked his way inside. There were velvet chairs by the door, where usually Cheri's team sits.

"Is that for Cheri?" Her manager said softly as he walks towards the chairs and the anxious Jungkook. Jungkook lightly nodded.

He watch her do poses, hairflips and whatever the director says. The crowded room filled with cameras and wires suddenly went wild when the shoot was over. Everybody congratulated each other. Cheri expressed her gratitude to the Fanta's team for choosing her for their advertisement.

"Oh! Jungkookie!" Cheri smiled and it promptly faded away when she saw the roses on his hands. Jungkook was her childhood friend and that was her reason why she cannot accept his deep feelings for her.

Jungkook quietly stood up.

"What are you doing here?" She asked obliviously.

Jungkook scratched the back of his head and laughed a little, "For you." He handed the roses and chocolates. Cheri was stunned. She thought she already turned him down. She placed the flowers and chocolates to the table and pulled him outside the studio. Her eyes were full of disappointment. Jungkook tried his best to smile.

"Jungkook.."

"I know."

"If you can't accept my decision, then I'll change it." Jungkook looked confused. "I want us to stay friends despite of you confessing to me, I don't want to throw our years of friendship but you're making me."

"What.. are you saying?" He held her hands.

"Let's not be friends anymore." She said. Jungkook felt as if the world took all the happiness and laughs in the world.

"Why? You said, you don't want to ruin our friendship but now you're destroying it? I don't.. I.. I don't understand." He turned his back and trying his best not to cry.

"I liked someone else.." That when Jungkook's heart shattered into million pieces.

"You could've said so from the very beginning." He said.

Cheri leaned against the wall, "I'm sorry. I know your feelings won't go away any soon thats why I'm ending this friendship."

Jungkook responded with, "I understand.." and walked away.

With a heavy heart, Jungkook walks to his car and mourn to the death of his and Cheri's friendship. Nothing else matter anymore, he held the car's spinning rims with both his hands. He leaned back and let a long, forceful sigh. He turned the engine on and held the gear shift.

That's how he ended up in Purple Cafe. He still can't believe he lost Cheri. What's his life now? He walked up to his car with his banana smoothie and drove home.

Inside the cafe, Taeya was left wondering. What could possibly happen to the good-looking stranger.

"Maybe he lost his job?" She asked Jimin.

Jimin replied, "I don't know. Maybe he got dumped." A customer came in and asked for a large cafe latte with milk foam. Taeya was leaning against the table with a bewildered face, placed her index finger to her lower lips.

"What kind of a stupid and uncultured person would dumped someone like him?" She said to the busy Jimin.

"Taeya, if you're going to distract Jimin, I'll fire you." Taehyung said while refilling their refrigerator with boxed milk.

"Would you??" Taeya's eyes began to shine.

"Yes. I'll fire you and ask Seokjin hyung to employ you." Taehyung replied. Seokjin's business was a restaurant. It's always full. Taeya and Taehyung once visited the kitchen, and it was bizzare. Chefs were shouting, especially Seokjin who was always hyped. The sound of the plates coming in and out being dropped to the sink, the continuous loud water as the dishwashers wash the utensils, the sound of the cutting of ingredient, the boiling of soup and Seokjin's dad jokes.

Taeya immediately went back to the counter, terrified that his brother might really send him to Seokjin's. She then noticed a tall, fine woman walking towards their door. It was Cheri, her favorite artist. Her heart pounded fast, she quickly called Jimin who was cutting the newly baked pies. She ducked her head low

"Jimin!" She whispered. "Come here!"

"What?" Jimin played along and whispered back.

Jimin went closer and ducked his head as well, "It's Cheri! She's coming.." She pointed. The door opened and it was Cheri. She looked at the two workers who had their head ducked.

Jimin immediately acted as if something fell of the ground leaving Taeya on the awkwardness ride. Taeya fixed her posture and kicked Jimin on the floor while smiling at Cheri. Cheri smiled a bit and asked, "Where's your manager?"

Taeya pointed his brother and bowed. She was speechless.

"Kang Myung Hee?"

"Kim Taehyung?" Cheri goofed. The customers began to notice Cheri and took pictures of her and immediately posted them.

Taeya sat to level herself with Jimin who was in the floor. "Why did he called her on her real name?" She whispered.

Just like what Jimin did a while ago, "They're kind of seeing each other." He whispered back and played a long with Taeya.

Taeya's eyes dilated with excitement and happiness. Her brother was dating her favorite idol! But how could she not know about this?
