The Arrival

As I climbed out of my diamond blue Lexus, I stared at the blank door before me. I felt like it was taunting me because in some way, it knew I was afraid to knock and accept the fact that I am now an adult attending a very expensive college. I gathered up all the courage in my body, walked up to the front door, and knocked. When a male opened the door he gave me a questioning look, then invited me in.

"May I help you?" He asked looking confused.

"Um... yeah actually. I'm Tristian, your new roommate" I said cheerfully.

"Wow um... don't take this the wrong way, but I was kind of expecting a guy, not a woman to walk through here, but I guess you will have to do." He sighed, sporting a disappointing smile. "Anyway, let's get you familiar with everyone." He clapped asking everyone to give him their undivided attention.

"I'm Anthony," said a voice from the back. He had blonde hair with deep blue eyes and I'd be lying if I said they weren't electrifying.

"I'm Braydon." A tall figure appeared from around the corner smiling brightly. He had dirty blonde hair with light green eyes. The look was kinda cute.

"Jayden," said the man in front of the television. He had light brown hair with deep grey eyes. Now he was cute. REALLY cute.

"Right and I'm Andrew."

So that's his name.

He had dark brown hair with forest green eyes and freckles on his cheeks complimented by dimples. I had to hand it to him; the man was hot.

"Who wants to show Tristan up to her room?" He asked.

"I'll do it I guess, since everyone else is acting like an ass" Braydon offered, giving me a smile.

I followed him up the stairs to the third floor and down the hall. When he opened the door, I expected there to be an old bed with ugly old curtains and crumbling paint, but what I saw was the opposite.

There was a nice plain queen size bed with fancy white lace curtains and orange painted walls. "I know it doesn't look like much, but I hope you like it."

"Thanks Braydon. I really appreciate it," I stated, giving him a nod.

"Anytime Tristan. I'm just down the hall if you need anything. See you later" With that he walked out, leaving me in a frightening silence. I let out a deep breath, then went down stairs to unload my car.

"Let me help you with that."

A tall male appeared and grabbed my bag. He had light brown hair with blonde highlights and hazel eyes. He helped unload everything from my car and bring it back up to my room.

"I'm August by the way." He stuck out his hand.

"Nice to meet you August. I'm Tristan." I responded, shaking his hand.

"Well welcome to Mission Hills, Ms.Tristan."

"Thank you. Good to be here."
