Kanina pa ako paikot-ikot sa loob ng pavilion para hanapin si Alexandrea, ang current god-child ko. Kanina pa ako pinatitinginan ng mga tao dito sa kadahilanang- one, I'm not from this school, Two, my school was a gazillion miles across the ocean and Three - I. CANT. SPEAK. FRENCH.
Yes. Nasa France ako ngayon at ang current mission ko ay ang ibigay ang happily ever after ng isang 16-year-old teenage French na isang nerd at may crush sa kanilang school heartthrob which is way out of her league. But that will never be a problem, lalo na ako ang kanyang fairy god mother, I'll make sure that I will give her that best happily ever after in the history of fairies.
I've been roaming around the pavilion, not minding the lethal death glares I am receiving, people with thick eyelashes and devil red nails are so so violent. I should probably use that for future reference.
Great. How am I supposed to give her happily ever after? When she was going all MIA on me. But just as the fast song ended and the slow one started, I found her. I really couldn't help but smile to myself. I feel proud of my own creation. Two weeks ago, Alexandrea was a nobody, she's just a nerd with a thick eyeglasses. Now, here she is, wearing the prettiest gown in the room making heads turn to her direction.
But wait, something's missing...
Oh right, her prince charming!
As if on cue Lucian Stiltberg came in, looking dashing as ever with his toothpaste commercial smile.
Seriously, kung hindi lang siya ang prince charming ng current god-child ko sigurado crush ko na din siya. But that's a big NO-NO, as stated in the Fairy manual, the fairyguardian should never feel any intimate feeling with her godchild nor anyone related with her current assignment. And I would definitely not risk my fairy license just because crush ko ang crush ng current god child ko. Like duh, dugo't pawis ang pinuhunan ko just to get my fairy license kaya importante to sakin like any other fairy with their license.
This will be the perfect time to do some magic. I slowly slipped my hand into my pocket to get my magic wand. With a simple flick of my wrist, the crowd automatically parted. Here was where the real magic happens. It wasn't my magic, because mine was just a by product of the real one. The real magic would happen between them. This was real love.
And real love was the real magic.
I should probably asked Amethyst to put an english subtitle when I watch this scene later for the evaluation of my fairy performance in this mission.
Dahil tapos na rin ang mission ko, might as well do the last trick.
Every after mission we were supposed to cast a magic spell to our god child to forget that I existed nor any other fairies exist. Para na rin yun sa ikabubuti niya at ng lahat ng fairies.
I was about cast the spell when suddenly someone grabbed me from behind. I raised my wand to fight whoever my captor is when out came uncontrolled sparks from my wand.
I elbowed my captor and stepped on his foot. I turned around to see who it was but all I saw was shadow slowly fading away.
I blinked. What the hell was that?
I turned back to where Alexandrea is, to continue what was I about to do earlier. But I was shocked to see that all the people inside the pavilion are looking daze and unfocused.
I gulped. Oh no I didn't. I shook my head aggressively.
Did I just wipe away everyone's memories?!
Im definitely in big trouble again. I bit my lower lip.
Uhhh...opps?
