The Guardians

Chapter 1

"Home sweet home" I exclaimed pagkatapos kong ilapag ang mga bagahe ko at humiga sa sofa. Pagod ako dahil sa tagal ng biyahe feeling ko nga may jetlag pa ako eh. I didn't rode a plane if that's what you're thinking, I'm a fairy remember so we just poof anywhere we want to go, pero nakakapagod din because it depends kung gaano kalayo yung gusto mong puntahan, especially that Level 1 fairy palang ako so hindi ganoon kalakas ang poofing skills ko. I need a full 48-hours of sleep saka ko na iisipin yung evaluation ko from my not-so-successful assignment. Ang gusto ko lang ngayon ay matulog. Dahil sigurado anytime ipapatawag ako ng council para sa consequence ko dahil sa nangyari sa last assignment ko.

This is not actually my real home. Where am I? Nasa mortal world ako. I go to school here, like a normal human being. I do the things normal people do. Hinahayaan kami ng council na makisalamuha sa mga mortal as long as hindi nila nalalaman ang totoong katauhan namin. Malaking kaguluhan kapag nalaman ng isang normal na tao na may mga kagaya namin, that fairies do exist, that there are people who has powers called Grevendels and there's a place called Greven.

I've been living in this apartment with my two fairy friends. We are living a normal life, hindi namin pwedeng gamitin ang mga powers namin sa mga mortal, that is against the rules. Dito, normal na tao kami. Normal college students. No one in this world knows who we are or what we really are.

I was about to fall asleep ng bigla nalang may dalawang pares ng paa ang patakbong pumunta sa akin.

"EUUUUURRRRYYYYYYY!!!!!" Thalia exclaimed sabay yakap sa akin.

"24 hours kang nawala! Namiss kita! Wala ka bang dalang french bread diyan? Or kaya nakipagfrench kiss ka ba? Come on! Galing kang france. Magkwento ka naman"Astrid. I rolled my eyes at her.Yes. 24 hours lang akong nawala kung ang fairy clock ang titignan but here in the mortal world that is equivalent to Two weeks.

"Ugggh...seriously Astrid? French kiss?" Thalia said disgustedly. "So, how was your mission? Successful ba?"

I shrugged. "The usual scenario. "

They both looked at me with wide eyes. "Oh no. Don't tell me nandon na naman yung shadow like last time?!" Thalia.

Astrid shook her head. "Don't you think kailangan ng malaman ng council toh? There is definitely something or someone behind all this."

"I don't know. Ayoko munang isipin yan. I want to rest inaantok na talaga ako" I said sleepily.

Ayoko man aminin, but those shadows are bothering me. Pero hindi ko alam kung paano ko ipapaliwanag sa council toh or kung sakali man alam kaya nila ang kung ano ang mga yon? Is it just a problem of our society or ng buong Greven? Greven is divided into four societies. Ang Crimson, Avalon, Mendel at ang Deltron.

The Mendel Society is where we fairies came from. There are 4 different types of Fairies. The Technical type, kung saan under si Astrid. Technical type of fairies are in charge of discovering new magic spells basta they're into potions and such. The second type is the Healing type, sila naman yung mga fairies na nanggagamot, sila ang mga fairies na naghahanap ng iba't-ibang medicine. Sila din ang naghahanap ng mga pwedeng lunas sa iba't ibang sakit. Sakanila nakasalalay ang kalusugan ng Mendel Society at ng buong Greven. Third type is the Mechanical type, sila naman ang mga fairies na in-charge sa mga infrastractures and facilities. And lastly, the Guardians.Under kami ni Thalia sa type na ito. Guardian type of fairies ay mga fairies na binibigyan ng god-child. We're usually known as the fairy godmothers. And we? Were in-charge of giving Happily ever afters.
