Chapter 27: ending it together

Yuuki: taking me this far from your friends just to fight.

Asuna: I won't allow you to hurt anymore people, this is between me and you.

Yuuki: suit yourself either way you'll never make it out alive.

Asuna: I wouldn't be sure about that.

Yuuki: a few lessons of practicing your power won't help you.

Asuna drew her rapier out and held a staff in the other hand.

Yuuki drew both of her swords and pointed one at asuna.

Yuuki: give it your best.

Asuna used her staff and spawned herself bright white chainmail and spawned a shield over her staff.

Yuuki did the same and spawned dark purple chainmail and instead set both of her swords on fire with purple flames.

Asuna: your move.

Yuuki flew forwards at asuna with incredible speed and collided with asunas sword and shield, asuna used her hidden staff and froze yuukis feet in place and right after delivering a cut to the arm.

Yuuki burned the ice with her swords and jumped back looking at her wound, asuna looked at her and noticed her eyes turning blood red.

Asuna: yuuki?

Yuuki: you'll pay for that!

Yuuki once again flew at asuna but this time using both of her swords and sent relentless attacks over and over again at asuna who was trying to hold them back.

Yuuki: 1 and a half years I spent in sao in one room, 1 and a half years!

Asuna: I know I'm sorry!

Yuuki kept attacking her while still talking.

Yuuki: I was tortured I thought about nothing but freedom but after that all I wanted to do was die, but then I saw my chance and killed 11 of them demons and made it out.

Asuna: you were over reacting it wasn't you.

Yuuki: I wasn't over reacting, in fact I enjoyed slaying each one of them and the looks on their face made me smile.

Asuna: your not a killer forget it!

Yuuki: I have killed thousands more here and all I wanted was to kill you.

Asuna: why kill them if you just wanted me?!

Yuuki: because I love killing.

Asuna: that's enough!

Asuna shield bashed yuuki round the face and knocked one sword away while shattering her shield.

Both of them jumped back and stared at each other while breathing.

Yuuki: why do you not give up?

Asuna: because people believe in me and I believe in them, that's the true source of my power.

Yuuki: you're lying you don't understand the true source of power.

Yuuki set a purple aurora around her and her eyes were now glowing bright red.

Asuna set a blue aurora around her and her eyes were glowing bright blue.

Yuuki: only one of us makes it out today and that's me!

Asuna: I wouldn't be sure.

Yuuki summoned a fire tornado around asuna and began damaging her.

Asuna screamed in pain as the flames pierced through the armour and shattered it.
