Today is me and Katie's anniversary. We've been best friends for 17 years. We've been friends since our mothers met in the the hospital after giving birth to us on the same day. Our mothers let us have play dates almost every day. I still remember the day we learned to talk.
*FLASHBACK*
I was crawling around my house looking for my mama. When I found her she was on the phone so I tugged on her pants leg and she picked me up. "Hey do you and Katie want to come over?" Mama asked Katie's mom. I smiled and started bouncing in her arms which caused her to laugh. She soon hung up the phone and fed me my favorite baby food, mashed bananas. After I ate I started playing with my toys when the doorbell rung. I squealed and quickly crawled to the door waiting for mama. She came out of the kitchen and laughed at how eager I was while opening the door. Katie and her mum stepped in the door and her mum let her on the floor with me. We crawled to each other and babbled while giving what we thought was a hug but in reality it looked like we had each other in a headlock. I sat back and opened my mouth trying to talk. "Tie!" (Tee) I shouted happily.Mama gasped out. "Pep!" Katie shouted back which caused her mum to gasp too. "Is this her first time talking?" They asked at the same time then they both nodded.

I got out of bed and went to take a shower and brush my teeth before getting dressed in the outfit up top. I then grabbed my car keys and drove to dunkin donuts and got me and Katie our favorites, a caramel iced latte with whipped cream and a tropical mango smoothie with whipped cream. I then called Katie. "Hello?" She answered. "Hey you ready?" I asked getting back in my car. "Yeah just putting on my shoes." She responded. "Okay. I'm down the street. " I said before hanging up and driving to her house. I honked the horn to let her know I'm here. When she got in the car I gave her the latte and began driving to the mall. While I was driving my phone started ringing. Katie answered it and put it up to my ear. "Hello? Hey babe. Yeah I'm hanging out with Katie today. I'm free tomorrow. Yeah sure. I'll ask. Kay bye." She hung up the phone and looked at me. "Felix wants to know if me and you want to hang out with him and Danny tomorrow." I said before she can question me. "Oh yeah sure." She answered. We got to the mall and shopped and messed around.
After that we went to go see 'beauty and the beast' and then we went to have a sleepover at my house. We got to my house and ordered a pizza. 20 minutes later my dad came home from work. "Daddy!" Me and Katie yelled together. I slightly pushed her aside and ran to hug my father. "How was work?" I asked kissing his cheek. "It was good sweetie. Hi Katie." My dad said hugging Katie and kissing her forehead. "We ordered pizza which should be her in 2 minutes." I said pulling out some movies for me and Katie to watch. Soon the doorbell rung and I opened it to see Felix holding 4 pizza boxes. "Hey babe." He said smiling. "Hey. What are you doing here?" I asked taking the boxes from him before giving him a peck on the lips. "Well your father invited me over for dinner and video games." He said walking in. I gave him a hug before telling him where my dad is. He took a pizza box before wallking to my dad's man cave. "What we watching first girlie?" I asked bringing the other three boxes to the loviving room. "Jurassic World." She said taking a slice of pizza. I nodded and we made it through three of the twenty movies before we fell asleep.
