Five nights at Feliciano's

Chapter 5

You returned to the pizzeria later on that night. You could hear the singing of the hetaloids from outside, and the happy laugher of the children.

The hetaloids really were loved, it's just disappointing that people don't know what this place is hiding behind its joyful exterior. It made you wonder, if people did know, what would they do? If they were stuck in your position would they handle it differently from how you have been handling it?

Yesterday when you had gotten home from your first day of work, you ran into your friend's. They called themselves the Nordic 5, You found a bit strange for them to call themselves that at first but you got use to it. One of your friends Matthias asked you about your first night and it was so hard not to burst out and tell them the truth right then and there... but they were that last people on the earth that you would want to think you were crazy. They are the only friends you have ever had. For the past 5 years they had stuck by you and you didn't want to lose them over something like this.

You let out  deep breath and prepared yourself for night 2.

Opening the door you saw the hetaloids, on stage, waving goodbye to the children and adults as the last of them left for closing time. You had decided to introduce yourself to the 1p hetaloids today. After all would need to know as much about the place as possible if you wanted to survive and what better place to start than getting to know the 1p robots first. Besides you didn't get to speak to them, yesterday. Unlike the 2p robots from last night, they didn't seem so intimidating.

You stood right in front of the stage and looked around, The main room was empty, It was just you and the hetaloids.
Looking back at the hetaloids, they had their backs to you and you listened in on their conversation since they hadn't notice you were standing there.

"Good show my dude's" The American one praised while patting the British one on the back who immediately waved him off. "Don't do that you git!"

An Italian one with a large smile jumped up and down. "Yeah! I love making all of the children and adults smile. It makes me happy!" he cheered.

"I hate to interrupt but it's almost time." The Chinese one said while pointing over to the clock. The atmosphere in the room immediately went down. "o-oh i guess you're right." The brit replied and cast his eyes downwards.

"Hey! How long have you been standing there?" A booming German voice came from above you. You looked up and saw him staring right at you and the others following his gaze.     

"Oh, Um not that long." You replied after a moment of hesitation, he was actually very intimidating for a 1p hetaloid. No one else spoke up after that, they were all staring at you like you were crazy. The room was eerily silent and it made you uncomfortable so you decided to break it. You climbed up on stage and held out your hand to the closest one, which happened to be the German one. "I'm (name) by the way. The, uh, new night guard" You sounded very awkward even though you tried not to be. It was because they knew about everything that happened last night and had saw what happened between you and your boss.  You couldn't help but feel uneasy talking to them. 

He glanced at your hand for a moment then shook it, his grip was firm but it didn't hurt you. "I am known as Germany,  But my human name is Ludwig. We all represent a country, as you can probably tell from our accents." You nodded in understanding and let go of his hand.

You looked at the other hetaloids and waited for them to introduce themselves. The first on to come up to you was the happy Italian, with a strange curl. "Ciao Bella! I'm Italy or Feliciano!" He said and grabbed your hand and shook it wildly, you felt like he was going to rip your arm off, but you could tell he meant no harm. He seemed happy to get to talk to you, but to you it seemed that his smile was a little bit forced. Maybe it was because he felt awkward about what was going to happen again tonight.
