The gleaming sun rises over the rippling waters of the lake; a breeze blows softly through my long blond hair; the trees, and flowers glisten with dew drops, from the rain the night before. As I stand on my bedroom balcony watching as the whole world awakens, I can feel, smell, see, the magic flowing through the air, my soul enlightens, and then the moment stops, my alarm rings. "Sweet hart it's time to get up." My mom says in a clam joyful voice, "Ok, mom." I announce, then I hear a purring sound, " Hello there Kit!" I exclaim, as my kitten Kit rubs her silk like fur against my ankle; I in return bend down and pick her up and wrap her up in my arms, and scratch her behind the ears. A moment later when she's had her fill, she wriggled out of my grasp and runs to her kitty cat castle in the left corner of my room. I head to my closet on the right side of my room and get out a pair of old worn navy blue skinny jeans, and a practically new white tank top and slide them over my swimsuit. My back aches from the night before, so I head out of my bedroom and down the hall to the guest bathroom, and I open the medicine cabinet; I get the ibuprofen out and take two pills. The stairs are down the hall to the right of the bathroom, I jump on the rails and slide down; some people say it feels like flying but that's an understatement, I know what flying feels like and sliding down is the stair rails doesn't even come close. Mom is standing at the bottom of the stair rails and she shakes her head at me and says "When are you going to learn not to slide down the stair rails!" she says as she gives me my old pink camouflage jacket, and my teal blue converse shoes. "Never, unless you let me out more." I pause, "You know in my true from!" I reply with attitude. My mom snaps back at me saying, "You know why we can't!" "But mom..." I say trying to make a point to prove to her that I can go out but she stops me in my tracks and snaps back again, "No, Never, Ever, go out at night you hear me!" I reply in a quite voice, "Yes, mam!" "Good, now come eat your breakfast." She says in a now calm voice. I obey and head for the kitchen.; on the table there's a plate of pancakes and sausage, next to the plate is a glass of cold refreshing milk ,and a chocolate chip cookie. I slowly eat my breakfast as mom does the dishes and sweeps the floor, I look around the clean kitchen; the floor is a cream colored tile, the countertop is brown, black and, white garnet. The glass back door is located behind me next to the chrome refrigerator which is so clean you can see your reflection every time you walk past it, on the right side of the backdoor is the entrance to the living room, and above me is a silver hanging chandelier. When I'm done eating I put on my shoes and my jacket; I run into the front corridor and grab my black ,purple ,sliver ,and pink backpack, a fairy with sliver wings and the purple highlights around her wings, and a pink dress lies on the front pocket; with silver little butterflies all around the rest of the backpack. The corridor is small , and there is a white table against the right wall with a mirror on it; I do my make up in the mirror and yell out, "Mom I got to go love ya bye!" I begin to open the door, and walk out. My mom walks up to me, hugs me and says "Have a good day sweet hart!" "I will mom, Oh yeah I forgot to tell you Beth and I are going camping by the falls. I'll text you when we get there! Love ya bye!" I run out the door before she can say anything else. I swing my backpack onto my back, jump on my pink BMX bike, and ride down the dirt road, surrounded with green trees. I hit the main road and ride till I get to first street then I turn left on Mable road and ride down the hill to the bottom of the street; down almost every single road in Lovington is covered in thick green forest until you get to Main street which clears out into buildings, like stores, markets, banks, and then it weaves into neighborhoods and apartment complexes. Then I turn right into Elizabeth's driveway and park my bike on her porch; I chain my bike to the railings, then ring the doorbell, "Hi! Ashlyn, how are you?" Elizabeth's mom Rebecca says while opening the door, "I'm fine thanks is Beth home?" I ask, Rebecca looks towards the stairs and calls out,"Elizabeth! Ashlyn is here!" She turns to me and smiles then walks away into the kitchen."Ok mom," Beth says walking down the stairs. "Hey, Beth," I exclaim walking into the house, "Hi, Ashly, how's the new bike?" "Great! The suspension is awesome, I can't wait to take it down to the skate park." I say smiling. "So where are we going?" Beth asks, "I'll tell you later, come on let's get our gear, and go." I say while walking up stairs to Beth's room. Beth's room is up the stairs and down the hall first door to the right. "So what side of town are we heading to?" Beth asks, "We're going to.....Lighting Falls!" I said. "Wait,What?! The Fairy Falls!" Beth looked shocked; The Fairy Falls has been in our little town for as long as I could remember. The beautiful water fall, the sun glistening in the sky, an thick canopy of green lushes leaves above our heads, as we walk along the path. I imagined it as we talked. "Yeah, We're going camping down there." "Cool" Beth said, "So when do we leave?" "As soon as you are ready, then we can tell your mom, and then we can pick up my stuff." I said, "Sounds cool,...so what should I bring, and how long well we be gone?" Beth asked as she dug through her closet, and began throwing out some clothes, a pair of blue jeans lands on my head and I pull them off and say," We're going to be gone all weekend, now can you stop throwing clothes in my face!" I exclaim. She doesn't answer, she throws her backpack on the bed and begins putting in supplies, then she turns and looks at me in a serous manner and asks, "Dose your mom know were we r going? Ashly?","Yeah, why?" I look back at her in a confused way, "Because last time you didn't tell her and you got grounded for a week!" Beth said trying to hold a serious face then she couldn't hold in her laughter anymore and she burst out laughing. "Beth breath come on it will be fun," I lay on the bed trying to stop laughing as well."I mean our wings the moonlight flying over the falls, it will be amazing!" I lay down and looked at the sealing waiting for Beth to finish packing. After Beth finished packing we walked down stairs to tell Beth's mom that we were going camping. "Mom Ashly and I are going camping down by the River Falls I'll see you on Monday or Tuesday." Beth waited for answer. "Ok, dear have fun do you have your wacky-talky?" Beth's mom gives Beth a hug and a kiss, "Yeah, I do I love you mom, Bye! Come on Ashly lets go!" Beth says as she runs out the door and jumps on her bike then waits for Ashly. I jump on my bike, "Come on we have to pick up my stuff then we can go." We take off down the road back to my house when we get to main street, we drop by the convenient store owned by Mr. Anderson to pick up some supplies. Mr. Anderson has always made us a supplies bag if we told him we were going camping a few days before, when our parents make us go run errands. We ride up to Mr. Andersons grocery store we park our bikes and then we walk in, "Hi Mr. Anderson," we said as we walked in, "Hi, girls! you ready for your camping trip?" Mr. Anderson asked. "Almost, we just have to get the supplies fro you and then we have to go to my place to get my backpack." I replied, "Good, well as you both already know I packed you up a little something for your trip. It's in the back!" Mr. Anderson said as he pointed to the back of the store; "Thanks Mr. Anderson," I said as Beth and I walked into the back, "So were are you girls headed?" Mr. Anderson asked, "Were headed down to the River Falls to sleep under the full moon." Beth says as she picks up the two backpacks in the back of the store; while I grab a couple chocolate bars and energy drinks, " " Mr. Anderson I would like to buy these please." I say as I place the chocolate bars and energy drinks on the counter. "Sure Ashly!" Mr. Anderson says as he rings them up; " What did you put in these bags Mr. Anderson their a little heavy?" Beth asks as she walks up with the bags. "Just a Little treat, you'll find out when you get to the Falls." Mr. Anderson says as he hands the Chocolate bars and energy drinks to Ashly. "Ok Beth we should go if where going to get to my house to get my backpack and then head to the Falls before dark." I said as I put away the food. "ok," Beth said, "bye Mr. Anderson!" we exclaimed together as we walk out of the store. We jump on our bikes after exiting the store, we drive down main street then we turn down the dirt road I live on, and head to the lake house neighborhood. We arrive at my house a few minutes later, " Wait here Beth." I say as I park my bike on the front porch and I run and jump the back fence, then I go into the house through the back door. I turn and lock the back door, then I grab a piece of paper and write on it, " Dear mom, I am going camping for a few days up by the falls I will have my track phone on so you can call me. I love you and I'll call you soon. - Love Ashly" I put the letter on the refrigerator held up by one of my mom's red hart shaped magnets. After I put the letter on the refrigerator, I head upstairs to my room to get my backpack, then I head back down stairs to the front door and grab my keys from the coat rack on the back of the door. "Ashly, Hurry up we only have twenty minutes till the horse ranch closes!" Beth calls out in concern, "I'm coming Beth!" I reply as I open the front door, walk out then lock the door behind me. "Come on lets go," I jump on my bike, " Before the ranch closes and were going to have to stay in the barn again." I say as I take off, "Do you think we'll make it?" Beth asked, "Well lets fined out! Race you! Ready set Go!" Beth and I ride off as fast as we can......
