Ch. 7 The ultrasound and the gender

I was going to the hospital for an ultrasound. Its been two months since i took the pregnancy test. I'm two months pregnant. We want to know the gender of our baby.

After the ultrasound, we found out we're having a baby girl. I felt so happy. So was Christian see as he was smiling brightly.
As me and Christian walked to our car, I rubbed my belly as i thought of a name.
Nicole Sande grey, i thought to myself. I spoke it aloud to Christian. He smiled.

I love it babe. It's a beautiful name for our unborn child., he said, smiling, while kissing my lips, softly. I kissed back lightly. We pulled apart and stared at each other for a moment. Then, Christian started the car and we rode off into the darkening skies. I just smiled and looked out the window.

- At home -

As we pulled into our drive way, Christian got out and opened my door for me. I stepped out of the car and Christian helped me to the front steps. He held my hand as we walked in the mansion. I smiled as i entered the building. I walked over to our room to lay down and rest. Christian lay next to me and pushed a strand of hair behind my ear.

Are you ok, Ana?, he asked, concern in his voice.

Yeah. I'm fine. I'm just exhausted. I'm tired is all., I told him, turning to face him with a smile.
He smiled back, brightly. I put my hand on his chest and snuggled into him.
He chuckled as I did so. I giggled, while smiling into his chest. He hugged me closer and fell asleep.

- the next morning -

I woke up and Christian was no where to be found. I got up and out of bed to look for him.
I found him on the balcony. I walked up next to him, feeling concerned.
But as i saw him smile, I smiled back. He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. We stood there watching the sunrise on the horizon. I put my arms around his torso, as we watched the day brighten up. It was a beautiful sight. I felt wind lightly pass through my hair. I closed my eyes and breathed the air, feeling relaxed. Christian spoke and broke my train of thought. I looked up at him, with a smile. He smiled his face brightening as the sun shined on him.

Then he spoke.

Lets go back to bed babe. Okay?, he said, smiling. I smiled back. Okay., i said, as i rubbed my eyes with the palms of my hands. We walked back to the bed and got into it and we both fell fast asleep...
But what I didn't know was my worst enemy...

The bitch saw us and sneered at me. I just acted as if I didn't care. She went back to the elevator and left. Christian was still sleeping peacefully. He looked like a Greek God as he slept. His shirt off, showing his abs, eyes closed. I just curled into him and snuggled up to him. I nuzzled his cheek. He opened his eyes and smiled at me. I giggled and smiled back. Then, we went back to sleep.
