so before we start I'm officially gonna finish/rewrite this book. yes, I'm aware it has been basically on hold since 2018 but :) quarantine has me on another level of creativity! so hope you enjoy the rewrite to both old and new readers!

Y/N POV

Honestly, I'm fed up with guys. Was I a heartbreaker until last year? yes yes, I was. Well, I'm done with that life. After my past boyfriend, cheated and left me for some other girl, I haven't been the same. When I was left alone, my thoughts took over. Wasn't I good enough? Did he want me to get fame?  I did it again. "Miss! You're on in 5!" a soft yet stern voice stated as they knocked on my door. I put on my mic and walked to the stage door. I felt a hand on my shoulder, startled i jumped back and tripped. Luckily the hand caught me. I closed my eyes awaiting the impact which never came. "Well, aren't you still a nervous wreck Y/N!" Zenix said with a laugh. Zenix, my best friend and drummer. "Shut up you bird brain." I started to laugh with him. "You've been doing this for like 2 years now!" He said while helping me stand straight. "Yeah but still, every crowd is different, every show gives off a different vibe." He smiled. "I guess you're right! Well, let's go, it's about time we go on stage." I nodded and fixed my outfit. "Hey, Colorado!! How we doing tonight!!" I said while walking out to an almost full venue. The crowd went crazy. I'm never gonna get used to this. 

^tiny time skip to after the concert^

"Thank you guys for coming! I hope you enjoyed the show! People with backstage passes please wait till your number gets called out!" I said while waving. I walked off and quickly changed into a slightly more comfortable outfit. "Yo Y/n! You were great out there!" a girl with white hair ran up to me. "Sasha!!" I opened my arms accepting her. "Gosh, I missed you girl. You need to come to Colorado more. Our calls don't feel the same." she said while giving me some space. "I know I know, I'm going to take a break from touring and soon we are going to be able to hang out all together again." I smiled. "Talking about together. Where is that jerk?" I was suddenly confused by her question. "Jerk-?" "yeah, you know! Zenix?"  I laughed. "Shut up Sasha. The only jerk here is you." Zenix said as he walked up to us and giving me a water bottle. "Here, the crowd was pretty loud so you had to sing louder so I thought you needed it." I looked at the time and noticed it was time for the meet and greet. "Thank you! Uh Sasha we are gonna catch up after this. The band and I have to go!" I grabbed Zenix by the arm and ran to a room. Gene, the bassist was trying to keep the people entertained. Zane, our keyboardist was half asleep. "I'm sorry guys! Hope I didn't keep you guys waiting for too long." I said nervously. Zenix walked up to his chair "Okay guys! Outrunning the Shadows' meet n greet will now begin! Please stay relaxed and don't cause so much ruckus!" He sat down and gave me a signal to sit down. After a few fans, a girl with blonde hair came up "well hi hun! who should I sign this for!" I said getting my marker ready. "um for Lilith! and um I have a question." I looked up to her "yes?" The girl looked to zenix and back to me. "Are you guys dating?" We both laughed. I quickly said no and looked at zenix who was a light shade of pink. "Oh okay then! Thank you for the autograph." She gave a small smile and walked away.

"I'm going to text Sasha to meet us in my place," I said while walking backwards to be facing the boys. Gene quickly ran up and made me look forward. "You need to look out Y/N. You almost hit a lamp." I chuckled. "Even if I did we all know it takes a lot more to bring me down!" We got to my house to find Sasha already ordering food. "Pizza or Chinese?" Zane asked. "Both." She smirked and looked at me. "Y/N here is paying so-" "MAKE HER POCKETS HURT!!" Everyone sang. I laughed. "Fine!! Let's get inside. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night." When we walked in I looked to the wall. Our "do it for the memories" wall.
