Haran Falling

Prologue

The world of Luma was a world split into 7 kingdoms. The year was X12 and the world and it's kingdoms lived in peace and harmony, with each ruler of the respective kingdoms leading their people to great success. These kingdoms were; Haran, Alza, Daetor, Valon, Breo, Haelia and Odan. The kingdoms each had an alliance with each other, offering trade and etc. The kingdom of Odan (being the 1st established kingdom) was the location of the Covenant of Luma, the centre (hub) of all the kingdoms to deal with negotiations and anything to do with the overall world. Haran was the youngest kingdom of them all, established in IX23 and ruled by the Grimsby family. Haran had a successful beginning, claiming what was left of the world of Luma and ultimately creating a complete worldwide connection between all the Kingdoms. The whole of Luma was under complete control of the humans. It wasn't until the year X2, when Queen E. Grimsby was coronated as the 3rd ruler of the Kingdom is when things started to change for worse. In the year X7, Haran cut off all trade with the Kingdom of Alza and Daetor. Something that hadn't happened, since the year VI74 in the world of Luma. Haran was being questioned by other kingdoms, and almost jepordised its place in the Covenant of Luma only having recently joined. Haran later reformed these trade deals in X8, with no response of why they cut them off in the first place. 

After this incident, Haran kept quiet about its plans to the rest of Luma. By the year X11, the kingdom was already falling apart from the inside, peace and tranquility in Haran at this point was simply unheard off. Protests broke out, laws were put in place but nothing could stop the distress of the "Defenders of Haran", a small alliance of towns across the kingdom attempting to face up against what was happening with the Grimsby family, Government and the overall health of the Kingdom. The Defenders of Haran consisted of 10 towns, mainly in the west of Haran. These towns were; Myrkka, Erinflaw, Wolfenclaw, Archdrop, Lockhart, Leon, Elevi, Ravenhigh, Blackheart and Briar. Myrkka was the capital of this alliance, and was the powerhouse for the alliance too. Having an army consisting of the strongest warriors, magic users and most importantly the Myrkka Seven; a group of warriors and mages possessing some of the most strongest abilities from gifts passed down from generation to generation which were originally bestowed upon by the Founder of Haran himself.

The up-rise against the Haran Government took a sudden a turn in the year X21 when the unthinkable happened. Which had originally been a political debate, between the Defenders of Haran and the Haran Government and minimal fighting which was often halted by the Myrkka Seven before anything serious happened, changed that year. Eight of the ten towns in the Defenders of Haran alliance were located in the east of the Kingdom, whereas Briar and Elevi were located in the west of the Kingdom, near to the where the Kingdom capital resides, home to the Grimsby family and Haran Government; Ara. What turned from a political debate into breaking the country in two was catastrophic. Ara launched a full scale attack onto Briar, killing the innocent and demolishing any part of the resistance whether it be person or building it could find, bloodshed was everywhere to be seen. Innocents were slain for no reason. It was a catastrophic. By the time the news had reached other membering towns, it was too late. The army that had attacked Briar followed through, with a second attack on Elevi. Again, shattering the town to pieces with little resistance stopping them. With the news finally reaching Myrkka, a counterattack was quickly thought out to drive back Ara forces before any more blood were to be shed. It was a success, before the Ara forces could reach the point that seperated the East from the West, a small army filled of some of the most powerful mages in Myrkka drove them back. That day shattered the Kingdom in two.

The following years to come were drastic. To the rest of Luma, this event was called the "Haran Collapse". With the Kingdom in complete disorder, the Covenant of Luma stepped in to attempt to correct things. The first action was the removal of any type of millitary Ara possessed. Ara and the current government were stripped of any power they also possessed, and put under the temporary control of the neighbouring Kingdom, Haelia. Of those who remained of the Ara government were to be detained and to remain in Ara at all times until it was decided of there fate. This also included the Royal family.  - need to continue

It was in this time that the Defender's of Haran stepped up from the ashes after the Zodiac incident, they fought off and pushed back what was left of the Ara forces back into the east. In the year X29, the first signs of peace were made, the treaty of Haran was created in order to prevent what was left of the Kingdom from falling apart completely. This in turn, with other policies split the Kingdom in half, into Eastern Haran and Western Haran. Ara, the Grimsby family, and the Haran government were never heard of again in the rest of Luma for the next 30 years. Haran was at peace again, well at least half was of it was. The Myrkka Council was formed, and the Republic of Eastern Haran was also formed. The first place in Luma not to be controlled directly by a King or Queen in history. The Republic of Eastern Haran, later formed an alliance with the Covenant of Luma and the Zodiac cannon of Libra was gifted to help defend Eastern Haran in absolute dire situations. 

These events would eventually lead to the events of this story, taking place in the year X53. Haran was about to come whole again.
