It was about 3 in the afternoon. Harry opened up the trunk of his dark grey coloured SUV. He picked up a box and walked to the front of a small, two-story house. He stood in the paved walkway for a minute or two. Just observing, before he walked up to the door, opened it, with a bit of a struggle as he had a box in his hand, and walked in.
After walking into the house, he used his right foot to lightly kick the door closed, still holding the slightly heavy box. He looked straight ahead. There were a few stairs in front of him. Only about 3 or so. To his right there was an old coatrack. To his left, a boring, empty white wall. Harry slowly walked up the stairs.
When he reached the top, there was a large, open concept room. Straight ahead there was a little kitchen, quite cute actually. To the right there was a living room with a brick fireplace. To the left, a dining room with a large window, over looking the front yard.
Next to the fireplace, there was a staircase. Much larger than the one at the doorway.
Harry placed the box on the floor and walked across the room, over to the staircase. He walked up the stairs. Minding his step as he walked.
When he reached the top of the stairs, he stopped. There was a long corridor. He decided to walk to his left. The first door he came to was open. He walked in. It was a bedroom, kind of on the smaller side but he didn't mind. It had a closet and a bookshelf. The room was painted a pale blue. Harry adored this colour.
Harry walked out of the room and down the hall, passing the staircase he walked up earlier. The first room he came too was a bathroom. Nothing special. There was a painting of a boat sailing on the ocean next to the mirror. Harry liked this painting. He wondered why the last house owner would leave it behind.
The last door was closed. He pushed it open and it was another bedroom. Only it was larger. It had an enormous window which lit up the room that was painted a dark shade of grey.
Harry was about to walk over to the window when he heard a car horn. Harry was expecting someone so he ran down the stairs and out the front door.
"Hey Draco!" Harry yelled as he ran closer to the green and white moving van that Draco was driving.
"Hey Potter!" Draco replied as he hopped out of the van and approached Harry. "So did you check out the house?" Draco asked Harry, excitedly.
"Yeah, it looks amazing" Harry exclaimed as Draco opened the back of the van.
"Thats good. I'm glad you like it. Well, we better start to bring all the furniture in and the boxes from your car." Draco informed Harry.
"Yeah good idea." Harry replied walking to his SUV to get some boxes.

Draco and Harry were roommates in their last apartment across town. Only they damaged some property, not on purpose really. It was an accident but the landlord didn't see it that way and kicked them out along with pressing charges. Part of their probation is no magic and having to do work like muggles. So the two friends got a new house together, instead of an apartment. They thought it was a good idea. That way they didn't have to worry about rent or landlords anymore.

Harry and Draco brought boxes upon boxes into the house. They even took in the sofa, beds and all the furniture out of the moving van into the house. It was very time consuming but nonetheless, they did it.
"This is the last box." Harry told Draco as he pulled the box out of the SUV. "Finally!" Draco exclaimed as he closed the car door behind Harry.
"Well I'm going to drive the moving van back to the rental place. I'll get a taxi back here when I'm done." Draco explained to Harry as he jingled the keys to the van.
"I can come pick you up, instead of you getting a taxi."
"No it's okay. I'll be back soon."
"Alright. I'm gonna start unpacking some boxes." Harry replied as Draco drove out of the driveway.
Harry did as he had done all that day, brought the box into the house, set it on the floor in the living room, and started to unpack them all.
Harry started with the kitchen boxes. Nothing that special really, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, the basics. He then unpacked the rest of the downstairs boxes, a bit of living room decor, the odd picture frames with pictures of him, Draco and their friends, and some of Draco's art. Draco was a fantastic artist. His paintings were beautiful. Harry always wished he could draw like him, but he just wasn't talented in that way.
After Harry finished unpacking the downstairs boxes, he started bringing some upstairs boxes, well, upstairs. He brought about 2 boxes or so and heard Draco come in the door.
AN: yeah this is a short chapter. So this is just a story I'm trying out. I don't really have anything planned for it. I'm just kinda writing and hoping it will turn out?
