Viviana's POV
It was another boring day at school. Same old work same old assignments same old everything. The bell rang "FINALLY" I thought in my head as a quickly scurried to the door after being dismissed. While walking out I heard the same annoying voices as everyday."Hey Nerd!" They shouted. I ignored them and kept walking. Luckily, I got away from then before they could say another word. God how I hate high school. I started walking back to my house and I started reading my favorite wattpad book. While reading, I tripped over a giant rock and broke my glasses lens. "Crap!" I shouted. What was I thinking?!? I am so clumsy! Just then I looked up and saw a blurry shape of a boy staring right at me. Oh my god it's Owen.Owens POV
I was walking back to school for practice. I saw Viviana ahead. I didn't know her well but I knew she was not fond of ANYONE at the school. I pitied her, she was bullied daily and didn't know one person at the school. I saw her trip over the rock, oblivious of her surroundings. I felt so bad that she broke her glasses, so I ran up to make sure she was okay. "Crap!" She said. She then looked right at me. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "Uh..er....uh" she stuttered. "I guess..." "Oh no, you broke your glasses." I stretched out my hand to help her up and she took it, obviously thankful. Then, an idea came into my head.Viviana's POV
Oh gosh, how embarrassing!!! I can't believe I just tripped and broke my glasses in front of one of the most popular guys in school. "Are you okay?" He asked me. "Um...er...um" was all I managed to say. "Oh no, you broke your glasses." And I saw a blurry shape reach out to me, I figured it was his hand and I grabbed it thankfully. He pulled me up effortlessly, impressing me. "Thank you" I said. "You're welcome...you can't see though." "Well. What can you do?" I said as I awkwardly laughed. "Dang I really wish I could help you... where do you live?" I told him and he put his address in Google Maps. He then walked me home. When we got there I said "Thank you, really." "It's not a problem." He must of walked away, because it was incredibly silent. I felt around for the doorbell and pressed it.Owen's POV
I started to walk away and back to the school. I felt guilty, as if it was my fault. I got to practice and started to run laps.... but I couldn't stop thinking about what happened. I really did feel horrible for her. So as soon as practice ended I ran to where she fell and picked up the shards of glass from the lens that broke, and I started walking the opposite direction of my house.
Viviana's POV
The door opened. "Viviana?" My older brother asked. "Are you okay?" No! I thought "Sure" I answered sarcastically. "Oh my god! Where the hell are you're glasses?!?" "Um... that's a long story-" "No! Viviana you are gonna be in a lot of trouble!" "No! Jason please-" "No Viviana. What the hell where you thinking?!? He said as he grabbed my face as tears were flowing down my cheeks. He inspected the side where my lens broke. "Goodness Viv, you scratched your eye. We need to get you to an optometrist- no more like urgent care." I thought about as more and more tears flowed down my face. Then I nodded slowly. I wrapped my arms around him and stuttered "I'm so sorry." "It's okay" he assured me hugging me back.
"Lets just get you to the doctor, okay?" I nodded as I let go and I got in his car.
Owen's POV
I was walking down the sidewalk as I pressed the button so I could cross the street. Then I realized I hadn't texted my Mom I was going to be late because I needed to pick up something. I quickly texted and she replied okay. The light then started counting down so I stepped down and started to walk. Then I saw her in the car in front of me. Dang it! I ran across the street before she noticed me. Thank goodness she didn't see me. I then reached my destination...
