Chapter 5

Viviana's POV
I AGAIN was oblivious of my surroundings and stepped out in the middle of the street when I saw a car come blazing at me. "VIVIANA!!" I heard Owen scream as he pulled me by my waist and threw me out of the way. I ended up on the sidewalk, alive. I was trembling with fear. What the hell just happened?!?!? Did Owen just.. SAVE MY LIFE?!?!? I was panting. "Are you okay?!?" He said obviously terrified. I couldn't say anything. I was in shock. I was trembling so bad I was terrified. There was a blinding pain in my foot, which made it worse. I started feeling nauseous and my face was going pale. "Viviana?!?!?" He asked as my hearing started to fade away. "Viviana?!" His voice faded. Next thing I knew, I passed out.
Owen's POV
Oh my god!!!!!! Did I just save her life?!? Oh my god I'm so glad she's okay. "Viviana?!?" I called out to her. Oh my god she passed out. AHHHHH!! I put her address back into my phone and picked her up in my arms. I don't care if I'm late. I started waking to her house. When I got there, I rang the doorbell. An older boy answered the door. He looked a lot like Viviana. Must be her brother. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!???" He said reaching for her. I handed her to him. "Can I come in?" I asked. "Sure." He placed her gently on the couch. "Did YOU do this?!?" "No." Never "I saw her walking to school and she wasn't that far from me. She walked on the street without paying attention, and a car came blazing at her." "WHAT?!" "It didn't hit her, I pulled her out of the way just in time, she passed out from fear." "Oh god" He said feeling her forehead. "Thank you, so much." "You're welcome." She doesn't have a fever, but her heart is racing out of control." "Yeah" "What's your name?" "Owen" "Thank you Owen" "You're welcome."
Viviana's POV
***********4 1/2 hours later*********
"Uhh" I woke up in the Hospital. "What the-" "Hey Viv, how are you feeling?" "Wha-where-what happened?" "You passed out. "No duh." "Owen said he saw you step out onto the street and a car came racing at you and he pulled you out of the way. You passed out in fear." I remember now! We were walking and I stepped out and he pulled me out of the way. "Oh." "Your pulse was out of control earlier, it's still pretty bad." "Oh." I said as I listened to the fast Beep-beep beep beep of my heart. 2 seconds apart. Thats not bad!!! He's  talking crazy!! There was tubes up my nose, a clamp on my finger, and that blood pressure wrap  on my arm. "You didn't need to take me here. I'm fine." I said as I started to get up. "No, your not fine, you passed out Viv, that's a pretty big deal." "No, it happens to people every-" "Viviana please! Just stop I was just worried about you, okay?" I was silent for a while. I couldn't stop thinking about something. Does Owen like me.?
