OLIVIA'S POV:
Tears were still streaming down my face as I walked into my house, slamming the door behind me. I noticed some random boxes lying in the dining room, but I ignored them and ran up to my room.
"Olivia?" my mom called from downstairs. "What's wrong?"
"Go away and leave me alone!" I scream, and she stays silent. Normally, she'd fight back with me, but I guess she saw that I wasn't in the mood for it, and I'm grateful for that.
I heard a knock come at my bedroom door, and I groan.
"Olivia?" Noelle asks, knocking again.
"What?" I yell.
I hear the door slowly creak open, and I throw one of my pillows at Noelle. "Go away."
"I have some bad news." she says, looking at the ground. I was surprised she didn't yell at me for throwing the damn pillow at her, but whatever.
"What is it?" I growl into my pillow, my tears soaking into it.
"We're moving." she whispers, and her voice cracked.
Relief washes over me. Normally, most people would be sad to move away, but no, I wasn't. I need to start fresh, somewhere far from here. Niall clearly doesn't want me here, neither does any of my other 'friends.' So what's the point, honestly?
"Really?" I say, perking up. I sit up and wipe my eyes, which were probably puffy and smeared with black mascara, but I didn't care. I'm not going to fucking prom.
She nods. "To a city a few hours away. I don't want to move."
I shrug. "Why not? We can both start fresh."
"I'll miss my friends, and my school, and the house, and everything. Why are you so happy to move?" she snaps.
"I hate it here right now... it's a long story, and it's honestly none of you business."
Noelle frowns. "Tell me." she begs, and I shake my head no.
"When are we moving?"
"We need to be packed up by next week," she explains. "It's cuz Dad got a new job. I hate him for it."
"I sure don't. And is that why there are a bunch of boxes in the dining room?"
She nods and I smile. "I'm going to start packing. I can't wait."
NIALL'S POV
**three days later**
Call me a dick, I don't care.
I needed to get her out. I couldn't stand to be in the same room as her.
Of course, I still love her, but I need some space right now, to think.
I understand that I cheated on her as well, but I was fucking wasted-- she wasn't.
It just hurts me more than she'll ever know, even thought it guess we weren't technically dating at the time.
And she forgave you, my subconscious reminds me. I shake my head, trying to get the thought off of my mind.
It's just going to hurt even more if I think about it.
At least we tried to keep our love hidden. Honestly, if Harry never came back drunk with Melissa, none of this would've happened.
No.
It's not their fault.
If I wouldn't have ditched Olivia to babysit them, and go get drunk, none of this could've happened.
I need to go and apologize to her. Now. And I need to forgive her, as well.
*
I run up to the front door of her house. I knock on it and stand back a little, crossing my arms like last time.
The door creaked open, and there stood the same girl.
"Hey Naomii." I say, brushing past her.
"It's Noelle." she snaps, and I turn around.
"Oh yeah. Where's Olivia?"
"I accept your apology," she mutters under her breath. "And Olivia's in Muskego."
I raise an eyebrow. I've always failed geography, so I'm not sure if that's a restaurant or some shit. I don't know what the hell she's talking about.
"Uhm... where's that?"
"It's a city near Milwaukee." she shrugs, and my heart stops.
"What... why?" I stutter, trying to process that Olivia was 3 hours away from here.
I glance around the dining room, and there's no furniture anywhere-- just boxes.
Shit.
"We're moving there tomorrow, and Livia was really excited, so she left earlier than the rest of us."
"Oh uhm.. ok. Bye Nelly." I say slowly, turning around to head out the door.
"Noelle!" she shouts a second before I slam the door shut.
Well, looks like I'm going to Muskego.
