The Little Girl

The Park

One day her dad had a crazy idea to go to the park and she couldn't say no because he looked so hopeful and happy. She just didn't want to ruin his mood... and life. However, she had to so she got ready and tried to look as cheerful as she could. Her father decided to walk there and have a nice stroll. Of corse, this made it a lot harder for her but she would always say to her dad that she strolled down to the park so she had to. She tried to mask the pain with a weak smile but every time she looked away a tear rolled down her cheek so she had to quickly brush it away. Finally, they got to the park and her father sat down on a bench. The girl quietly followed him and rested. Her father suggested that she go play with her friends that she told him about. She gulped and walked over to the play set. Everyone stared at her and even some mothers pulled their kids away from her. The final pieces inside of her broke and she quickly wheeled away she went as fast as she could just to get away from everyone she found a wood and hid in it, watching as her dad ran past her not noticing. The girl looked down at her sore hands and cried. There was a rustle in the bushes she looked around stiffly but couldn't see much because it had got dark. The girl felt a cold whisper down her spine and shivered she decided to go home so she slowly backed out of the woods. Every time her hands moved a wheel a tear spilled down her cheek. she pushed open the door and looked out the window. She didn't think anyone was home so she went to the kitchen and looked in the drawers. In one there were some forks and butter knives. However, in the next one, she found a carving knife. calmly she examined the knife and fiddled with the blade. She rocked it back and forth on her wrist but suddenly the door creaked open and so she quickly shoved the knife back in the drawer accidently slicing herself she held back the pain and tears as her dad walked in and stared at her in shock.
