Prologue

It was a nice day out in Summer Lane. Almost every day was a nice day. The town isn't called Summer Lane for nothing. I gathered my toiletries and tied my shoes, knitting them tightly and then stuffing my big bunny eared laces inside my shoes.

My clothes are packed in my suitcase and ready to go. Its funny, I'm leaving a place when its summer to a place where its never summer.

Its always Christmas.

"Logan, hurry your ass up." said Aden.

"I'm coming." I grabbed my fluff coat and zipped up my giant suitcase and rolled it down the stairs. My suitcase smashed against the stairs as I descend.

"Alright baby, I'll see you when you get back."

"Yes ma'am." I told my mom. "Love you." I kissed her cheek and lead myself out of the house.

Then a light brown skinned man who I think is my best friend, I don't know at times, started waving his hand at me.

"You're so slow." Aden said, halfway in the truck.

"Not my fault, had to take some stuff out." Which wasn't true, I was really packing more stuff.

Tod blared the truck's horn as Laura came walking over to me. She laced her arm around mine as we walked to the back of the truck. It was black and was a seven seater. "So?"
