"Peter, please tell me what they're doing. I think its unfair that everyone but me knows." Peter turned to face Remus and between mouthfuls managed to explain that not everyone knew just him and Marlene. Remus, seeing that his friend was not going to say any more on the matter, sat down in the large armchair by the fire which was now facing the centre of the common room.

Every month the marauders put on some sort of presentation slash performance for the Gryffindor house. Only about half of the house turned up but everyone knew what happened each month none the less. However this month it was only James and Sirius. Remus had no idea what the boys were doing and it frustrated him. Him and Sirius had only just made up after the *cough* snivellus um incident, in fact they made up after the last performance, and Remus valued honesty between the two. So the fact peter knew and Marlene knew he found very aggravating.

All the chairs had been turned to face the middle of the common room and were lined up in two lines on either side of the tables , which had been pushed together to make an uneven runway of some sorts. Remus had tried to guess but the possibilities were endless with those two and got more ridiculous and ridiculous each time. Slumping into the chair, making himself into a ball, Remus tried to deduce the others around him. Next to him was Peter who was happily eating cockroach clusters and talking to Marlene who was beside him. He noted that Lily, who was the other side of Marlene also did not know what was going on. Her and James got together at the beginning of the year and Lily, along with Marlene, had sort of become part of the Marauders. Lily's legs were tapping restlessly, she had her arms folded across her chest and an unimpressed expression on her face. she looked how Remus felt. Remus got bored of trying to Sherlock his way into everyone's lives and closed his eyes to sleep.

Remus was woken by Peter shaking his shoulder violently and Marlene squealing at Lily who looked even more unimpressed than before. Noticing that the whole of the house had turned up, Remus decided that the performance was perhaps more anticipated by others than he thought and sat up a bit. People were chatting in hushed tones to the others surrounding them, glancing over to Remus and Lily before turning around quickly and laughing. Remus found this very off putting. He felt people were going to have to start explaining before anything went on. He was about to demand Peter tell him what was going on when everyone went quiet. Looking around in shock Remus saw some of the seventh years producing smoke from their wands onto the makeshift stage. Remus had never seen the gryffindors go so quiet so quickly and thought he better pay attention.

Wolf whistles were heard further up the stage near the dormitories which were followed by cat calls. Craning his neck to get a better look, Remus' mouth dropped. Poking out from the side of the dormitory arch was a bright pink gogo boot. Before Remus could even comprehend what was happening a black one joined the scene from the other side of the arch. Music started playing and if Remus wasn't so shocked he would've groaned. They were doing a musical number, which were the most unpopular with the gryffindors, what followed the gogo boots however was not. The boots stepped down and brought with them James and Sirius, in complete Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley cosplay, aside from the gogo boots.

The lights were turned down and then, once both boys had strutted up an down the 'catwalk', the singing started. Sirius opened the act. He had gone up to face Remus who was sitting, gazing in awe, slut dropped (because we all know Sirius was flamboyant af) and looked straight at Remus.

"Tonight I want to give it all to you
In the darkness
There's so much I want to do
And tonight I want to lay it at your feet
'Cause boy, I was made for you
And boy, you were made for me"

He gave an apologetic look before a smug grin of satisfaction smothered his face then stood up and joined his brother, strutting and belting out the chorus, James was out of tune but it was a spectacle to behold. James had then gone and sat by Lily who was still looking unimpressed but was obviously trying not to laugh. The adolescent then sang the second chorus very badly.
