CHAPTER 2

NIALL'S POV

I can't believe Holly just broke up with me. She was everything to me. I loved her so much.

These next couple of months are going to be hard.

I slide in the passenger seat, beside my mom. Trying not to give away the fact that i was crying.

"Niall, honey, are you okay?" She asks.

"Holly broke up with me." I say drying my tears.

"oh, hun, i'm so sorry." Mom says starting up the car, and backing out of the driveway.

"yea, it's okay. We're still friend at least." I answer.

"That's good." She answers keeping her eyes on the road.

University here I come!

HOLLY'S POV (didn't see that coming, did ya? hehe)

I thought Niall and I breaking up would be harder, but I haven't cried since we said goodbye at his house 2 hours ago.

I texted Liam, Harry, Louis, and Taylor to come over to hang out.

ME: Hey guys! wanna hang out?

I put my phone down, to wait for them to reply,

Then 5 secs later, my phone starts blowing up with texts.

LT: yassss im in!!

LP: sure, b there in 15.

HS: hell yeah, I'm in!

TP: ofc i'm in ;)

I text back,

ME: sounds good!! door is unlocked!

I love when we all hang out, but Niall isn't here. At least I have 4 amazing best friends, that are like family to me.

15 minutes later

"hey, we are here!" I hear a British accent yell from downstairs. I head downstairs to see Taylor and Liam, I smile.

"hey guys!!" I greet them.

"how's it going, with Niall being gone?" Liam asks.

"good I guess. Niall and I broke up before he left. We're still friends though." I answer.

"what?! YOU GUYS BROKE UP?!!?" Taylor asks loudly.

"Yea, it was for the best." I reply.

"Well if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, you always got me." Liam tells me, patting his shoulder.

Liam is like a dad to everybody. That's why the boys call him "Daddy Direction" cause he's more mature than Niall, Louis and Harry.

"thanks Li." I answer.

"Anytime." He replies as Harry walks in. Taylor runs to him and wraps her arms around him. They start making out. PDA much?

"aye, not while the brother is in the room!" Liam tells them, making a disgusted face.

"Oops, sorry Li." Taylor says blushing a bit.

"Your gonna have to get over the fact that I'm dating your sister!!" Harry says back to Liam, smirking.

"wipe that smirk off your face, and next time make out somewhere else!" Liam fires back.

"hey! my partner in crime!!" Harry says to me, ignoring Liam's comment.

"Hey!" I reply, as Harry brings me in for a huge hug. His hugs are the best!

If your wondering why he called me his "Partner In Crime" well it's because we do amazing pranks on the lads. Harry and I could get away with murder, for that matter! That's how good we are.

"TOMMO IS IN THE HOUSE!!!" Louis yells crashing through the door, making me jump a bit.

"LOU!!!! I MISSED YOU!" I yell running to him, and jumping into his arms for a hug.

"HOLLY!!! I MISSED YOU TOO!" He yells back, hugging me.

Louis and I are like peas in a pod. He's one of my bestest friends, besides Taylor of course.

"hello, lads!" he greets the others with fist pumps and bro hugs.

"Hey Tay!" he says to Taylor, side hugging her.

"hi to you to, lou." Tay says back smiling.

"so what are we gonna do?" Harry asks looking to me with a questioning face.

"we could always order pizza, and watch movies the whole night?" Louis suggests. Just hearing the word "pizza" reminds me of Niall. That's his fave food.

I miss him, a lot.

"i'll be right back, guys." I say to everyone heading out of the room, before I start crying in front of everybody.

I could tell that they knew something was up. I step outside, and sit against the wall. It's getting close to fall, so the weather is changing. It gets pretty cold now.

I hear the door open, and someone steps out. Then the door closes.

"holly?" I hear a British accent. I don't respond. "Holly." the voices says more sternly. I could already tell that its Liam.

"yes?" I answer with tears in my eyes.

"Are you crying, love?" He asks worried.

I shake my head, "no" but he doesn't buy it. Probably because he saw the tears on my cheeks.

He pulls me up by the arm, "Tell me whats wrong." He says. I look up at him, his eyes are gorgeous; just like Niall's. expect his are blue.

"I just miss Niall." I answer wrapping my arms around myself.

"I miss being able to kiss him, and have him wrap his arms around me. I miss cuddling, and having lazy days together. Or ordering pizza and watching movies the whole night." I ramble on, until Liam stops me, by pulling me in for a hug.

I rest my head on his chest, as his arms wrap around me.

"i totally understand what your going through. I even miss him, same with the others." Liam says still hugging me. He's so warm.

"I'll be here for you, same with Lou, Harry and Tay. You won't ever feel alone. You can even stay over at one of our houses when you feel lonely. We all love you, Holly." Liam tells me, making me feel little better.

"I love you all!! You guys are like family to me. And thank you for coming out here to comfort me. " I thank Liam, kissing him on the cheek. Not in a girlfriend way, more of a sisterly way.

"Of course, I care about you. I hate seeing you, or the others upset." He replies kissing the top of my head, in a brotherly way....I hope.

"Lets get back inside!! I'm freezing!" I say running into the house. Liam follows.

Tonight I'm gonna stop thinking about him, and have fun with everybody.
