RIN KIYUMI'S POV
"I don't...belong anywhere do I?" I looked up at mother. She just stared down at me with hatred and disgust in her eyes. I looked back at me, there was blood everywhere. "Blood... Mother! There's blood! There's blood everywhere!" I looked at my hands that were covered in blood. It isn't mine... Is it? I felt a pain in my stomach and saw fresh blood staining my shirt. I was bleeding. I looked back at mother who held a bloody knife. "Nobody loves you Rin. We all hate you. You're the reason that my husband is dead."
I wake up panting... Another nightmare. I get up and open my window. "Mother and Father don't hate me... Do they? Well, I do cause a lot of problems..." I sigh and open my door, looking both ways before stepping out. I slowly walk towards the front door. As my hand touches the doorknob, I hear someone behind me. My hand goes straight to my thigh where I keep my kunai pouch. Then I realize it's not there... I turn around, ready to fight. I see Father standing there, holding my kunai pouch. "Looking for this?" He smiles and hands it to me. I smile and take it from him, "How'd you do that? You have to teach me!" He just laughs and ruffles my hair, "I will eventually. Why are you out of bed? More importantly, why're you at the front door, about to leave?" I look away from him, "I was just going for a walk... I couldn't sleep."
"C'mon." He takes my hand and leads me back to my room. He pulls the covers back and tucks me in. "Rin... You have to sleep, otherwise you'll be tired tomorrow. Don't you have a test?" I sigh, "Yes father. I'll sleep. Goodnight." With that, he leaves.
We currently live in the Land of Snow... But we plan on moving soon, too much trouble is here. My parents are waiting until I turn 15 though, which will be in two days. They won't say why, but I don't believe it's for a good reason. I slowly drift off into the sleeping realm as I think about everything.
