Unfaithful

Chapter 5

                          Robyn POV

I had finally responded to Chris's messages. He seemed to not care about what had happened that day in the restaurant. Which was a surprise to me. I honestly thought he would be somewhat angry with me.

"You're beautiful! You know that right?" Chris asked her. Her cheeks turned light red. She couldn't help but blush at his flattering comments.

"Mr. Brown you tell me this all the time, so yes I do know that by now!" Chris let out a low chuckle. Then he moved closer to her.

"Why don't you tell me more about yourself" She looked up at him.

"What is there to know about me besides I am married, I have a daughter, and I am a housewife. Nothing interesting or fun about my life!" Robyn said half joking, but most her statement was very true.

"What about your parents or do you have siblings?" Chris notice a sudden change in her expression. She seemed sad, but she picked back up her mood. Because she notice him starring. She let out a sigh.

"I have two brothers, and one sister. I am really close with my mother, but I and my father do not talk. That is a story for another day." Chris didn't push the subject further, but instead he moved on to another topic.

"My husband should be getting home soon, and I have to go pick up my daughter from school."

"I could come with you, I don't mind I have nothing else to do" He had offer but Robyn shut him.

30 Minutes Later

Chris followed behind Robyn as she walked up to her daughter school. It didn't take long before a light brown, curly headed child came running at her.

"Mommy, I draw picture!" The little girl shouted with joy.

"Baby is that me?" Briya nodding her head.

"Baby that is so beautiful, you draw mommy a picture!" Briya smiled showing her toothless mouth. Robyn had totally forgot about Chris standing right there. But when she turned around she saw another woman talking to him. She was flirting with him. And he was blushing. Why am I feeling jealous? That is not my husband he is just a friend. Robyn made her way over to the two.

"Umm Chris are you ready to go?" She saw the smile on the lady face turn into disappointment.

"Yes I am ready to go!" With that the two left her standing there. Chris took Briya out of Robyn's care and put her in her car seat. Since Robyn had picked up Chris from his house. She now had to take him back home. The car ride was filled with laughter.

"You should come over one night, not in that way. But you know to hang out." Robyn looked at Chris, but before she could even responded. He beat her to her answer.

"Of course bring your husband! I don't want you to feel like you have to do something you don't want to do!" 

"Yes, thank you, but you know my husband doesn't have to go everywhere I go"
