Yay! first chapter! i would like to note that if you havent seen any of the episodes of the new season of the show you might get confused in some of the chapters. Now... ON TO THE STORY!

Rileys POV
After my time at the next step I went to university with James and we both have jobs I am a kindergaden teacher and he is a doctor. We live together in a townhouse. And no me and James are not married at the moment or engaged.
James POV
Life had been great since my time at the next step. I have a beautiful girlfriend and don't tell her but I have a big surprised in store for her.
Me and Riley are going to go visit her parents for a family BBQ. Her sister and her family will be there which will be a blast.
****Later that day****
Riley POV
Me and James arrive at my parents house. We walk up to the door holding hands. James rings the door bell and we hear the pitter patter of tiny feet running to answer the door. When the door opens my neice stands there. She rushes up to hug James so he drops my hand and bends down to pick her up and he twirls her. She giggles loudly.
"Hey beautiful" James says.
"I though auntie Riwey was beautiful" She giggles.
"Oh Lucy, you have it all wrong. Riley is gorgous and you are beautiful." James replies. I smile softly at that.
"Hey shes my neice dont you think I desereve a hug?" I joke.
"No" James jokes back. "You don't get a hug because she likes me better."
"Wets go to the backyawd" Lucy says.
"Ok" James says and the walks through the house while carrying Lucy. We get to the backyard. My parents and Emily and Eldon rush up to hug us.
We all sit and eat and we talk about everything in each others lives we talk about our childhood and my parents even bug me and James asking about when we will have kids which makes me blush and James just smirks and says 'don't even worry about it' It eventually gets late and we all head home.
