The best thing about this ship is the chemistry.
I could picture Meiko as a depressed drunk, and Kaito a person who helps her out of her depression.
Meiko is a punk, and Kaito is the new shy nerdy dude.
Meiko is a robber, Kaito's a cop.
Meiko the tsun tsun, Kaito the dandere/kuudere/deredere.
They all fit this ship, and they're all adorable headcanons.
The only thing that bothers me is that people picture her as a brash drunk who basically abuses Kaito. No, that's not canon. No, it doesn't have to be like that. If you want to think like that, then Gumi should be a fricken fox demon!
