A friend is someone who never leaves. They never abandon you-- even when you want to be alone. They refuse to see you suffer and they will do anything to make you happy. They are there with you in your best days and your favorite memories, but they are also there right by your side in your worst days and your worst memories. A friend knows you. Not just your name, or your favorite color. A true friend knows when something is wrong just by the look in your eyes-- even if you're faking a smile. They know your deepest secrets, your imperfections, your perfections, your pet peeves, your turn ons and turn offs. They know your eye color in the morning anf your eye color at night. A friend knows how you feel just by being near you-- they can feel it. When you are sad, they are sad. When you cry, they cry. When you smile they smile. When you fall they help you up. When yu embarrass yourself they never let you live it down. They walk with you past your crush even if it is way out of their way. They take the blame with you even if they weren't involve. A true friend is someone who is like yourself. You can't live without them and you won't. You cry when you think about who will die first and so do they. And the most important thing about friendship-- you will fight. You will hate eachother and still love eachother. You may be back stabbed or you might be the back stabber; either way, forgiveness is given even if it is not deserved becasue neither of you can stand to be with out the other. That's true friendship. If you dont have one friend in your life who is this person-- you need to look harder. Expand yourself. Grow. Friendship, true friendship, is the real reason for life. Don't confuse the visable apperance with what truly lies with in.
