Bealine opened the window and gave us a mischievous grin. She was planning something and Paoline eyed her, a sign telling her to go on.
“No, don’t do it Bea, we’ll be in trouble!” I yelled, worried and also wanting her to go at the same time. I wanted to enter the locked room Through the window too but I guess my responsible side won’t let me do something crazy that easily. But it looked fun.
“C’mon, Lisa,” Bealine started, “I need to get my bag and the door is locked! The window is the only way in!”
Her eyes were daring, I could tell. I bet she knew the risk of getting caught but you don’t know if you don’t try, right? So I just stood there to watch what would happen. I can’t stop her.
“Go, Bea, before the teacher comes!” Paoline was egging her on to do it. She could think thousands of crazy things and not get caught from actually doing it. I guess her “Daring Virus” spread on to Bea, oh boy.
Bea gave us one last grin before jumping to get some force. Her stout body jiggled under her track suit. She jumped once more to get her body inside. Her upper body went in first and her legs were sticking out.
Me and Paoline snickered before it turned into loud laughs. No teachers were around, thank goodness. And before we know it, Bea’s body disappeared, meaning, she was inside already. We laughed on for the next few minutes until Bea climbed out and landed hard on her bottom. Worried, I ran to her and helped her up.
Paoline leaned forward and asked her, “So, how was mission impossible?”
Bea grinned and then straightened herself. She gave thumbs up and said, “Accomplished.”
I stared at the two. No matter how I look at them, the most random moments do happen around them. Could it be I’m too normal? Nah. They’re just being awesome. But I think I’m forgetting something.
“How was your little mission?” we heard a scary and husky voice ask from behind.
We all turned around and gulped. Mrs. Sanchez stood there, tapping her ruler on her other hand and glaring at us with her cobalt blue eyes behind those glasses.
We gulped once more. Sure, those two are completely random, but, never expect Bealine to do anything without being noticed because she’s always noticed. I’m sure Paoline knows that, seeing that creeped out face she’s giving.
Lesson learnt: Never let Bea do something crazy.
I hope Paoline doesn’t egg her on again next time.
