The story of Under the Rug

On the move

Harold and his wife, Carol, were finishing unpacking in their new home when Carol heard a soft voice whisper to her, "come with me to the secret place", said the whisper. Carol told Harold that she heard something, but Harold just thought she was being just distracted by the noises coming from the construction site. 

So when they both finished unpacking, Harold went to the cabinet and grabbed two 6-pack donuts and sat down on his favorite chair, grabbed the t.v remote and started to watch golf.

Carol on the other hand, was looking everywhere in the house for something suspicious that would catch her eye, but nothing was there. She went into the living room and found Harold asleep in the middle of eating his second donut, when all of a sudden Carol spotted a bump in the rug she tried to wake up Harold, but he would not budge. So Carol went outside in the garage, and got a baseball bat. She came back inside, Harold was gone. She was very confused, but then she saw the lump got bigger from under the rug. She took the bat and BANG, she hit it as hard as she could. Harold gets out from under the rug and yells "OW". Carol is surprised, she raises the bat one more time and hits Harold in the face. Harold lies flat on the floor unconscious and it seemed like he was dead, but still breathing.
