"Where were you?!" Katie asked as soon as I stepped foot inside my house. I heavily sighed wiping my hand down my face. I slipped off my shoes dropping my keys into the bowl.

"I've been calling you all night, worried sick about you!" She yelled walking towards me. I looked at her blankly. "I was at Indya's house" I said. She scrunched her face.

"Indya? What business do you have there? You just acting like it's not a problem either" She said. I rolled my eyes.

"I have a lot of business there and It's not a problem. I'm single so I can do what I want to be honest" She stared at me for a moment. I stared back. "Wow... I guess I'll just leave then" She turned around and started to go up the stairs.

"Wait" I pulled her back to face me. I looked into her eyes and seen tears forming. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to come at you that way. Katie I'm really feeling you like forreal. I wasn't really ready to get into another serious relationship at first but seeing how you stuck with me for almost two years I want to start something serious with you" I explained.

"Really?" She sniffled. I smiled and wiped the tear from her cheek. "Even if I'm a white bitch" She joked. I chuckled. "You know I don't care about that" I brought her face up to mines and kissed her lips.

"But there is something I want to talk to you about" I said pulling away. "What is it?" I pulled her over to the couch and sat down. "I still wanna know what you were doing at Indya's house" She blurted.

"I was just about to get to that" I paused for a moment. "You remember when you were talking to her last night and you brought up her baby right?" I asked. She nodded.

"Well that baby... is mines" I slowly said. There was silence, I stared her down trying to read her but her face was blank. If she was feeling any type of way she was hiding it really well. "How do you know? You told me yourself that she cheated"

"Well I didn't know until I went over there to find out and that little girl looks just like me Katie. She has my hair, my nose, and my eyes. So I can't deny her even if I tried..... Look katie I just want to know how you feeling about this. I am going to take care of my baby and be involved with Indya. So if you don't like it then-"

"Chresanto I'm ok with it. I'm glad that you want to be in your daughter's life. I know what comes with a baby by another female and I'm down for whatever" She explained. I cheesed. "I appreciate that. So I know Indya is going to wanna get to know you a bit, I want you to her house with me later today" She nodded. "Cool"

:Later that Day:

I walked inside my house roughly taking my heels off. I had a long ass day and just wanted to relax with my baby. I hung my keys on the rack and walked towards the living room. Lina was walking out the kitchen with Ariah in her arms.

"There goes mommy" She cooed. I smiled widely taking her in my arms hugging her tightly. "Hey mama I missed you" I cooed. "How was she today?" I asked.

"She was great actually. She took a two hour nap so she'll probably be up later than usual." She explained. I handed lena her pay.

"Thank you, same time tomorrow?" She asked gathering her things. "Yep see you then"

"Ok see you Riri" Lena said then left out. I went to the kitchen sitting Ariah on the counter along with my purse then took my phone out seeing I had a message from Chresanto.

Chres: Me and Katie will be over at six.

I groaned facepalming myself. I totally forgot that they were coming over for dinner. I honestly didn't want any business 'getting to know' that girl. But I have to know who my baby is going to be around.
