Niki stood at the end of the cliff, tears streaming down his red face. "I'm sorry it has to end like this," he choked out to Sammy, squeezing his hand one last time. "It's better to end like this anyways, it's so much b-better to be dead than to live with this," Sammy whispered, clasping his hand to Niki's. "Nobody would ever accept us. We would probably be put in the fucking mental house," Sammy took a shaky breath. "It's better for both of us," Sammy let a tear fall down his face. "I love you so much," Niki could barely speak. This was it. It was time to go, nobody would ever speak to them if anyone found out they were in love.
Sammy gently reached out to hold his brother's waist, and kissed him softly. He got the same fuzzy and heart-leaping feeling he got whenever he kissed Niki. They could've kissed for days, for all they knew. They realized that it was over. They couldn't continue, twins being in love? That's fucking crazy and they would be better off dead.
"Hey, it'll be okay. It'll all be over soon, no more pain," Sammy whispered to his brother. Niki took a deep breath, his face streaked with tears, and nodded. They clasped hands together and held on as hard as they could. "I love you so much, Niki, more than you've ever known," Sammy sobbed out to Niki. "I've always loved you, Sammy," Niki whispered, more tears flowing down his cheeks. They stood against the edge of the cliff, and saw the blurry water through their tears. "R-ready?," Niki could barely speak. Sammy managed to nod his head. He was going to die peacefully with Niki, the only one he would ever want to be with. They took a deep, shaky breath, full of salty tears.
They jumped.
