"Hey..."

Young Bae softly tapped on Ji Yong's shoulder.

"Hey..."

Ji Yong gave him a wry smile. Sitting alone in the cafeteria, staring blank at his milk tea that has turned cold, Ji Yong leaned on the table with his face down, sighed.

Young Bae just shook his head. He remembered his best friend appeared by his doorstep last night with sadness on his face but never said anything at all. Ji Yong only asked whether Young Bae wants to go out for a supper, but ended up just staring at his bowl of ramen until it's cold. He didn't touch the drink either.

Young Bae knew Ji Yong was in dilemma, he knew it's about the new girl in the opposite building, all four of them knew that. But Young Bae couldn't find anything to say to make him feel better.

"Noona called me, asked why she couldn't reach you on your mobile,"

Young Bae said after the waitress took his order. He slid the menu over to Ji Yong, waiting for his response before he speaks again.

"She wants to know when will you be free to fetch Gaho and Jolie."

"I thought Gaho and Jolie were at my dad's..."

Finally, Ji Yong lifted his head. Young Bae was smiling like a bright sun, his smile was comforting Ji Yong's crying heart. Young Bae has always been there for him whenever he needs a shoulder to cry on. Young Bae is like a big brother to Ji Yong, he understands Ji Yong the most.

Ji Yong knew Young Bae and Tabi since he was little. He grew up with Young Bae sharing laughter and tears with him; Tabi was Ji Yong's childhood friend and neighbor until Ji Yong's parents decided to move to another neighborhood.

"They are, but noona was just wondering... She said it's been a week so your parents were concerned, they don't want you to push yourself too hard on your work."

Young Bae explained.

"I didn't realize it's already been a week since I left them in dad's care..."

Ji Yong uttered slowly while looking down again. He sighed softly before continued,

"I missed them too..."

He usually would put his pet dogs Gaho and Jolie under his dad's care whenever his schedules are too tight. There are certain times where he would bring them to the studio with him, only if the recording session or photo shooting doesn't go for a whole day long.

He didn't realize he let out another sigh.

"Do you want anything for breakfast?"

Ji Yong turned to Young Bae when he changed the conversation, pouting his lips in the direction of the menu in front of Ji Yong.

"Urm..."

"Your tea is cold, you shouldn't drink it anymore, why not order a breakfast set?"

Young Bae said again, stopping Ji Yong from giving an excuse to skip his breakfast.

"Alright..."

Young Bae just smirked while Ji Yong weakly flipped the menu pages. He didn't feel like eating at all despite the fact he hadn't consume anything since yesterday evening with Vanilla.

"I'll have this..."

Ji Yong just pointed randomly at a picture on the menu when the waitress came to take his order.
