Reiner x reader... Whiskey

(F/n) went straight to her bed after the fight. She wanted to feel numb with all the pain inside herself. Levi was mad at her since she messed up the mission.

She could still hear the shouting of the corporal and the disappointment in his steel gray eyes. Levi was like a father to her and the fact that she made him mad really scarred her.

The door creaked open but she laid face down in her pillow trying to muffle the static sobs. "Go away Mikasa," she quietly said assuming she was talking to her mysterious roommate.

Reiner took a step closer. "(f/n), it's me. I wanted to see if you were okay." "You looked pretty upset after the mission," he explained walking over to her bed.

He set the bottle of whiskey on the table and stroked the top of her head as a sign of reassurance. "Reiner I messed u-up so b-bad!" She cried clutching the fabric of the poorly made pillows on her bed. He sighed looking at the girl he loved feel so much pain. "You didn't mess up." He said softly,"You just panicked. It was the best decision you could make in that time."

(F/n) looked up tiredly, her eyes were bloodshot and her hair was a mess. "How'd you get the whiskey?" She whispered, clearly confused as none of the soldiers were allowed a whole bottle of such an expensive drink.

He cheekily smiled. "I stole it from Levi's office," he said,"There was so much tea in his cupboard though. The whiskey was all the way in the back!" He continued his rant. "How much fucking tea can a man as small as him drink?" He heard a stifled giggle from under the sheets and chuckled himself. 'I'm getting somewhere' he thought.

"Well pour some out will ya?" She suggested already reaching out for the two cup and the large bottle. Reiner poured an obviously uneven amount of whiskey into heir cups. "Reiner!! You have more than me!" (F/n) whined almost forgetting about the incident that occurred earlier.

A few cups in they were both more than tipsy. "You know there was this one time I walked in on Hanji trying to wax Erwin's eyebrows! He looked so scared, I literally lost it!" She laughed clearly intoxicated. Reiner scoffed and wrapped his tone arms around her mentally making sure to later ask the commander about the situation.

"Ya know I think I might love you." (F/n) blurted out after a short period of silence. They were both laying on the bed with a thin blanket draped over them. She was almost sober by now so it was surprising.

Reiner froze. "W-what?" He stuttered carelessly. Right now he wasn't the cool strong person who could beat anyone in sparring. He was vulnerable when he was with her. All of a sudden he lost all signs of drunkenness.

More silence.

"It's okay if you don't like me or anything I just-" she rambled on. He cut her off with a strong kiss on the lips pulling her in close. The strong taste of alcohol was ignored as they savored each other.

"I love you so so much you don't even know," he whispered. She ruffled his short blond locks and put him in a light head lock. "And you could tell me after all these years!" (F/n) scolded jokingly,"I thought you were though Reiner!" She poked his well toned abs. "With all that muscle you still can't ask me out?"

He rolled his eyes at her childish comments. They both then jumped to the sound of banging on the door. A muffled voice called out, "Open up you little shits!" Reiner knew exactly who it was.

"Uh oh," Reiner cheekily said, his eyes gesturing to the now empty bottle of whiskey. (F/n) kissed his cheek."I love you but I don't want to die," she said. Then she opened the door and ran out of the room in one swift motion leaving Reiner to deal with the grumpy corporal.

Sorry if it wasn't really good. I'm really trying to write better but idk
