Helping with a Present

(Drake's POV)
It was just a normal day like always for me, I was sitting on my couch and was watching tv. It was times like this were I can truly sit back, relax, and not worry about anything. But my relaxation didn't stop my thoughts to wonder about my new/old friends and ex's lovers. How was I going to deal with all them and how are they going to react when they found out about me. But is wasn't just that, how are they going to react when I tell them about my past and what I'm truly am. It was when I was in my college years that I truly found out about my powers and what I'm truly am.

I was on my college grounds leaning against a tree, working on some work that my professor needed me to do before Friday. As I working, I didn't notice a mid-age bold man in a wheelchair, wearing a fancy suit coming up right behind me. It was when I felt a hand on my shoulder that I noticed him, after I jump out of my skin, I look to the man who was chuckling to himself due to scaring the crap out me. "I'm sorry for scaring you, but are you Drake" he had asked but something about him was off, due to my heightened senses I could tell who was human and who wasn't, this guy wasn't. I decided not to look suspicious and said my name was Drake and then asked who he was which he responded with "My name is Charles Francis Xavier, I'm the founder of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. I came to ask you if you would like to join my school". Charles Xavier...CHARLES FUCKING XAVIER, a man who was smart as Reed Richards and Tony Stark, came to ask me to join his school, now a normal person would have said yes right away but I was curious to why he would ask me of all people.

"Why come all the way to ask me to join your school and why me of all people" I was truly wondering as to why he would ask me. He looked at me for a moment like trying to decide something when I felt something, like something trying to get into my head. I pushed back against it and saw Charles flinch which made my suspicion right that he wasn't human. I glared at him and demanded "What the hell are you" and out of no where a man with a strange haircut wearing a white shirt, leather jacket, blue jeans and boots. He tries to tackle me but I sidestep to the left causing him to fly passed me and land on the grass but soon I was hit by a unknown force that send me flying 20 feet away. I got up and look back to see a red hair woman wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and some sneakers.

Before anyone could make a move Xavier called out "Jean, Logan that's enough, stand down" he said which got them to stop and stand beside the professor. I stood up and ask again what they were which the professor said they were Mutants. People who posses the X-Gene and develop superhuman powers, traits and abilities, these powers range from physical to psychic or psionic-based. The mutant gene can also cause physical traits and characteristics no humans possess, commonly having the skin or eyes being more animal-like than human. Charles made his school to help those that gained the X-Gene and used Cerebro, a machine used by Professor Xavier to amplify his telepathic ability in order to observe all the mutants and humans throughout the world. He had used Cerebro, discovered Drake and found out he was stronger than a Omega level mutant which are, in theory, supposed to be the most powerful class of mutants.

Now I was confidence that I had gone crazy but with everything that had happen in my life, this was basically normal to him. Xavier had given me a chance to gain more control over his powers and learn to defend himself, sure I'll  have to go talked to my mother about this but I know I had to take this chance. I said yes that I would join but that's when the other guy, Logan I think his name was, stared to sniff and said "We got company". All of a sudden, a car comes out of no where and was heading right for Charles and his friends so I use my powers over metal to stop the car in mid-air. I look to see a man floating in the air wearing purple armor, a cape and a helmet with a blue skin woman with orange hair wearing skin-tight clothing and a big, animal-looking guy wearing a coat, black pants and some hunting boots standing under him. "Ok I'll ask, who are these guys" I ask which the red head , Jean if I remember correctly, said that they were Magneto, Mystique, and Sabertooth while also saying the were Mutants as well but they thought Mutants should rule the world as the dominant life form on the planet.
