-MIKAS POV-
Us? That word, as it so easily flows past Yuu's lips, my chest squeezes and twists. What's wrong with us? Did I do something wrong? My head began to fill with negative thoughts, and I clench my fists, "What about us?" Yuu flinches, and he wrinkles his nose, turning his head slightly away from me.
"It's just... Mika, are you being honest?" I twist my hands around the edge of the balcony and swallow down the forming lump in my throat, Honest? Honest about what? My head began to spin, and I feel sick, trying to understand what he meant. Whatever I had done, I know now that Yuu-chan has been wondering about it for a long time now. That just made me more curious.
-YUUS POV-
Taking a deep breath I try to collect my thoughts. Mika... I blink several times, giving him a serious expression. This is it, it's now or never Yuu... Just ask him. Finally Mika responds.
"Honest about what..?"
"-Mika, do you love me?" Turning my body toward him, I grab hold of his shoulders. His eyes widen, and his mouth drops as he tries to place words. Then his expression grows calm.
"Of course I love you Yuu-chan-"
"Be honest Mika. Do you truly love me, you don't love anyone else? Be honest Mika, are you just doing this so I'm happy...?" Quickly I bit down hard on my bottom lip to stop myself from saying anything else. Silence falls, and I let go of his shoulders, stumbling backwards quickly.
-MIKAS POV-
Yuu's hand let go of my shoulders and he stumbles backwards. Turning away he brings his hand up to his face, "Forget it, I'm just being selfish.." Am I happy? Do I really love Yuu-chan? Is this just for him? These questions run through my mind, and I ponder for a moment but I already know my answer. Smiling I walk over to Yuu, turning his face toward me I bring one of my hands to his face wiping his forming tears.
"Of course I love you, dummy, I'm doing this for the both of us, and I never once doubted these feelings Yuu-chan... I..." Yuu turns his body toward me and brings our hands up in front of us we intertwine our fingers. A stray tear falls down my cheek, and then laughter fills the air.
"Look at us.." I chuckle, resting my forehead against his. We stay there for a while, hand in hand foreheads together, moonlight spilt over us.
"I'm sorry Mika, I was stupid to doubt you..." He whispers, "I love you,"
"I love you two Yuu-chan... Forever and Always." I smile, closing my eyes."
"Forever and Always."
