Macy walked in the room just like she did every single day of the year. "Hey Milo, how's it going?" She asked with the softest voice I've ever heard. "Uh, good." I said barely making eye contact with her. "Are you okay Milo?" "I think so, I'm just a little stressed at the moment that's all." I said with a shaky voice. "Whats going on? You know you can always come to me for help." She said sympathetically. "I would Macy, but here's the problem. You're the reason I'm stressed." I said as I slowly look up to see her face go pale. "Oh. I'm sorry I'll go." She said as she grabbed her things and scurried out of my room. "No! Macy! Wait!" I yelled as I chased behind her. "What Milo." She said as if she was irritated. "I didn't mean it in that way Macy, I meant that there's something that I've been thinking about telling you but I haven't found the right time." I said as my face went numb as she began walking backwards. "Milo, when you are ready, come to me. Until then, ill stop stressing you out." She said as she turned around and walked away. I had no words. I had no clue what to yell to get her to come back. I would have nothing to say at school tomorrow. Is this the end of Macy and I?
