I grabbed Hugh's arm and we walked downstairs.

I heard whispers as we walked into the dining room.

The comments were like this:
"Why is she always guiding him around?"
"Is he ok?"
"Is he retarded?"
"Is he blind?"

Horace and Millard sniggered.

That last comment got Hugh and I saw his face go red and when his face goes red it means he wants to cry and is about to.

I saw 1 tear slide down his face.

We went to sit down at the dining table and there was food on our plates but we wouldn't eat.

Hugh had his bee net on but he wouldn't eat and he wouldn't take it off because he was crying.

I thought back to when somebody said was he blind and burst into tears.

Emma was next to me and asked if I was ok.

"No!" I screamed.

Everybody gasped.

I had lost it and I was about to tell Hugh's secret.

"It doesn't matter if Hugh's blind, I still like him the way he is, why can't all of you like him the same, you call him retarded, you call him blind, he wanted to get away from that, he came to my field, he came because he didn't want to be bullied anymore, now he just comes to an amazing place and finds out it's going to be exactly the same as his school, YOU'RE ALL HORRIBLE!!!!" I screamed.

I heard a whimper coming from Hugh and then sobbing.

"And all you can do is snigger..." I cried.

I felt sick.

I ran out of the dining room and to the bathroom.

I threw up.

That was horrible.

They were horrible.

Treating Hugh like that.

I went back to the dining room and sat down on my seat.

There was sick on my jacket, I tried to brush it off but Emma saw.

"Miss Peregrine, Fiona was sick."Emma said.

"Oh dear." Miss Peregrine said.

<<<<Skip to bed time>>>>

I went to my room with Hugh and I guided him to his bed.

I got into my own bed.

"Hugh?" I said quietly.

"Yes Fiona?"he answered.

"I love you." I replied.

"I love you too."Hugh said happily.
