Chapter 2

Kirsten's POV
I woke up early today because I have school, I just can't wait to be out of school and just enjoy life in general I mean I've had this routine for 4 fucking years all I want to do is to graduate high school and travel the world, theres so much to see rather than spending hours and hours inside a classroom but life sucks

I roll in my bed debating on whether or not I should go to school today, is there something I'm looking forward to today? Oh that 900 word essay Mr.Franke wants us to turn but is it worth it though? and I have an Ap exam ugh

*phone rings* 
unknown number

"Hello Kirsten Taylor speaking"  I said
I've been told by my mom that I have to be always professional when picking up an unknown number because you never know who it could be

"It's Josh"

"You know the guy from the abandoned school you ran into" He adds

"Oh why did you call?" I asked
why is he calling me it's so god damn early

"Well I have a flight in 3 hours and I guess you didn't realize you left your wallet last night, good thing Cody saw it before we left" Josh said

"Fuck really? must've dropped it but I have school today I can't just go right now" I said
I immediately look for my purse to see that my wallet is no where to be found

"I'll be back in a week I mean don't you need the money or your card? I promise I haven't touched it or anything I just might've looked through your pictures" He said

"Yeah I trust you" I said

"Where can we meet?" I asked

"Uhm me and Cody are actually leaving right now so maybe we can drop it by your house?" Josh said

"Of course that would be great" I sigh in relief that I didn't have to go and skip my classes that's the last thing I need. to miss an exam

"Alright " Josh said

"Thank you so so much Josh, you're the best" I smiled

"Hey if it's not mine then it's not" I can imagine his smiling face while he speaks through the phone

"Here's my address ' 8642 Washington St. Ventura Drive' when you see a house that has a bunch of  gnomes on the front yard that's ours" I said

"Gnomes huh?" Josh smirked

"Yes I know weird but I have to get ready now see you later" I laughed

"Okay see you bye" Josh laughed

"Bye bye" I said

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, applied some mascara and lip gloss I'm not in the mood to cake my face today so this'll do, I picked out an outfit and head downstairs to the kitchen to make an acaí bowl

"Hi sweetheart" Dad startled me

"Hey Dad!" I replied

"Why are you up so early?" He asked

"I have a lot of things to do toda-" I said until a doorbell cut me off

"Who's that its so early" My dad said in a confused look

He went to the door to peek who it is
