<~???'s P.O.V;Years later....~>
Cybertron. Years later. The cities of Cybertron, after Earth months of building and welcoming returning and new citizens to the planet, things are calm and normal. Well....as normal as a planet with a mutant and a halfing among their ranks. While the returning citizens were a bit uneasy about our presence, but it quickly wore off thanks to Team Prime's influence. Besides that, it took some work and some Cybertroian equivalent to a human teenager's ideas that we got the nickname Kaon's Royal Family. It's been stuck with us along with a few other nicknames. Some are quite.....well....they're rude.
I'm Moon, Kaon's Keeper. Along with a few other nicknames. As a former Decepticon, I've had to give up some information that the Autobots were either unable to get during the war or had no idea about. There was some info that even I didn't know about when I logged into the Decepticon mainframe. Now, I know what you're thinking. Someone as dedicated to the Decepticon cause and close to Lord Megatron like me would need quite a bit of convincing that giving up everything Decepticon was the right call. But Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus had a plan for that. As a result of my 'invaluable assistance', I was appointed honorary council member. In other words, if something happens and the Cybertroian Council needs an extra pair of servos and a pair of wings, they call me. It's actually more important then it sounds. When I'm not in Iacon playing Council, I'm in Kaon doing whatever I have planned for the day. And yes. It's often boring.
However, today was anything but boring. In fact, it felt like it was one surprise after another.
I was on the balcony when Nightfall came to me with a report. One I had never seen coming. Bumblebee, along with two others, had used the last known space bridge in the Iacon Museum to go to Earth for unknown reasons. I quickly ordered the space bridge secured and that my daughter would return from whatever she was doing where ever.
Currently, I was in my quarters, eyeing the lame life support system that was strapped on my lower hip.
Before I had my trial on Earth, I went to Cybertron as a test run to see how my systems would react to the lack of oxygen. With Autobot escorts. I have been in space before, but usually just above Earth inside the Decepticon warship where oxygen was still plentiful. Let's just say that despite my mutant ability to adapt to different environments, I still needed a steady supply of oxygen.
So, thanks to mostly human tech and some Cybertronian tech and a sugary later, I had a box on my back, right above my tail bone. A tube traveled up my spinal cord and made it's way to my lungs where it dropped off to deliver oxygen the box produced using what air there was. That's actually where Cybertronian science came in. Since Cybertron didn't have an actual atmosphere, the box takes what air there is and, with help from a sliver of energon, creates air for me to breath. In other words, all I have to do is just breath while the box works hard to let me breath. Of course, I need to add a new sliver of energon every cycle.
Naturally, moments where I just stand in front of my mirror are moments where I tend to let my mind wonder the most. Mostly on what my sparkmate would say about where I was in life.
"You would probably want to make this box smaller. But I know what you would say about my recent change of outfits." I mumbled, smiling softly as I glanced down at the skirt I had on. It looked like something that an ancient ruler would wear. Same with the shirt. Complete with jewelry to present myself with a royal look and a breast plate for both protection and to show I'm not afraid to fight. My daughter, on the other hand, had her cycles. Some days her outfits were more modern Earth based. Other days...well.....her father would keep her in her quarters until she changed. Me? I just told her to put a breast plate on.
"You'd be proud though. Here I am in a position that you have fought for." I went on, looking into my own eyes before they strayed over to the sport over my right shoulder. "Though, there are some aspects you would not approve of." I continued mumbling, frowning.
"All of Cybertron knows my involvement in the war. Both on and off the battlefield. There are names for me. Some praise me for my work I have done post-war. Some are neutral. Others are......well......you'd kill those who spoke of them in front of you." I continued, feeling that familiar ache in my chest as my eyes travel towards the floor. My left hand slowly traveled up and rested on my right shoulder as if a hand was there. I stayed like that until a knocking sound came from my door, snapping me out of my thoughts. I let my hand drop from my shoulder, along with my shirt.
"Enter." I called, turning my body so I was facing the door. The door opened and there stood the seeker I've had the pleasure of calling my butler all these Earth years.
Nightfall. His height matched that of a seeker that served as the Decepticon Second in Command during the war. Black in color with purple outlines and red optics. In a way, he reminded me of the communications chief.
"My lady. The museum staff has secured the space bridge and are awaiting your next order." Nightfall reported after giving me a quick bow. One that I myself had done before. I took a moment to consider my options before I started walking over to my desk.
"Contact Arrow and redirect her to the museum" I started off, grabbing a black hard back book off of my desk. "You will meet her there and give her this, along with her weapon." I continued, walking from my desk and half way to Nightfall, who was listening with confused optics. "I am sure the Council has already heard about what has happened and has a messenger on the way as we speak. I will have one of my guards escort me to the Council Chambers when the time comes." I finished as the seeker walked over and took the book from my hands.
"Yes my ladyship." Nightfall bowed again before turning and walking out of the room. As I watched him leave, I couldn't help but listen to a tiny voice in my head.
"She's ready for this. Besides, if he is making his return as I have predicted all those cycles ago, I want eyes there to witness it." I answered, going over to a window and stopping in front of it, looking out over Kaon with my hands folded behind my back.
