Aria's Point Of View
I walk to school checking my watching seeing it's already eight. I pick up my pace knowing school starts in 10 minutes and no new girl wants to be late for her first day.
I pull my jacket closer to me feeling colder as the wind blows snowing getting in my face from a near by tree. I groan "You fudging snow.." I mumble clearly annoyed.
I place my headphone back in my ear as it falls out. I look around 'Why are my feet cold?' I ask myself biting my lip. I look down my uggs deep in a puddle of slush.
I groan walking out quickly. "Ewww!" I whine my uggs now ruined. I keep walking seeing the high school come up close. I see a few kids sitting on their car talking some smoking.
I gasp knowing you can die like that. I walk past them keeping my head down trying to stay away from them. One of the blondes hop of the car looking at me. "Hey you!" she calls.
I look up and over at her then away. "You!" she says walking over to me. I look at her seeing she's taller then me but everyone is I'm only 5'0.
"Hello!" I say smiling widely trying to be nice as possible. She rolls her eyes at me "You're the bitch that took my job." I raise any eyebrow at her confused. "Excuse me?"
"I was Sky's babysitter until this Australian bitch had to come along, which is you by the way." She chuckles. I roll my eyes "Or Mrs. Grier doesn't want her daughter to end up like a pot smoking slut." I smirk my accent thick.
"What was that? Sorry I only English." She said slowly razzing me. I groan "You're the bitch!" I blurted out. She stared at me before slapping me across me the face hard. "No one calls me a bitch. Got it?" she voice scaring me. I nodded quickly.
I ran away from them into the school. I put my hoodie up as warm years ran down my face. I looked around the hall, empty. Class already stared four minutes ago.
I pull my schedule out my pocket looking for my first class. 'History with Mr. Ryan Room 122' I fold it back up and shove it in my pocket.
I look around at the class number 116..118..120. I smile then stop remembering my tears and my burning cheek. I sigh thinking about yolo.
I open the door slowly everyone turning to me as I step in the class. I ignore them walking to the teacher.
"Ahh, nice of you to finally join us Miss. Flores." he smiles at me as he stops writing on the board. "I'm sorry, I got lost on the way here." I bite my lip looking away.
He chuckles "It's fine. I still did and I've been working her for 2 years." I look over the wrinkles and grey hairs he has. "20 years!" the class yells.
"Didn't I say that?" he questions looking around. I smile at him "You said 2 Mr. Ryan" I answer. "Do you happen to be Australian?" he asks me. I blush nodding. He nods slowly "Well take a seat anywhere Aria!"
I turn around to the class looking for a seat. There's one seat in the corner by the window. I sigh walking over it the odd seat. I look around the seat before sitting down.
I unzip my backpack taking out my notebook and a pen. I cross my legs looking at my uggs before sighing. I start to take notes actually listening to what Mr. Ryan is saying.
Thirty minutes later the bell rings. I gather my stuff walking through the halls. I spot the girl from earlier. I keep my head down as I walk by her. "Hey bitch!" she yells getting some kids in the hall attention.
I walk faster as one of her friends pulls be back over to them by my arm. Her claws digging into my arm. Once we get over there I look at the blonde.
"Whatcha gonna do to her Julia?" One of the friends. I look at Julia closely finally knowing her name. She smirks stepping closer to me. I take a step back as the hallway clears up everyone going to class.
I try to walk away the friend bringing her back. My arm in pain now. "You're going to quit the job or I'll make your life a living hell." She threatens me.
I nod scared out of mine. She chuckles her friend letting go of me. I walk away quickly to my next class going the wrong.
I walk to the main door bumping into someone. I stumble back looking down. "Sorry." I mumble as I walk away the person grabbing my now bruised arm.
"Ow!" I whine looking up to see Nash. I sigh my tears running don my face. He let's go quickly smiling a bit. "Hey Aria... what's wrong?"
I shake my head looking away. "Nothing just stressed out. Hey can you tell your mom I can't work for Sky anymore. Thank you." I say fast walking away.
"Aria!" he says following after me. I turn on my heels smiling at him. "Yes?" I say sweetly yet flakily. "Why?" he sighs looking at me carefully.
"No reason I just need to time." I lie buttoning up my jacket. He nods slowly "Okay" he whispers. I walk outside running to my apartment.
I get there sooner or later. I close my door shut dropping my bag, and jacket on the floor my shoes never to them. I go to my room.
I plop down on my bed crying softly. 'Great start to the school year Aria. Your sister was right you'd never make it.' I think cuddling close to my pillow.
