A/N: If you have a better idea for the title please let me know. I'm burnt right now. Also, it's an extremely short chapter, an introductory. Maybe even just a prologue. I am just getting into story writing and the like so any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is welcomed. Thank you.
"Everyone's gonna hate her ... just like they did her father."
Aya's lucid cornflower blue eyes were pushed up with her contagious broad smile she had used to welcome the rare customers that had happened upon Drevis' Clinic. She muttered a quick greeting as she stepped aside and held the door, allowing the client to step inside. Aya guided the girl to a rather compact room with not much decor other than the bed used for checkups and such and her desk in the far corner. The girl took her place on the bed waiting for Aya to finish fiddling with a few trinkets on her desk. " So, what's your name?" Aya questioned as she continued to mess with whatever was scattered about on her desk. "Ib," The girl answered plainly whilst playing with the hem of her sleeve. Aya hummed with a nod as she made her way to the part of the bed just over Ib's head.
"Your hair," Aya cooed as she rested her hand atop of Ib's head. Ib shivered slightly at the unexpected touch. " it's very smooth, very pretty." She twirled a lock of Ib's hair with her pointer finger. " And your eyes!" She said in an enraptured tone, tracing the finger that was previously wrapped around a piece of hair across her eyelid . " Like roses in full bloom." she trailed off. Ib's eyes widened slightly at the rather peculiar "doctor". Ib quickly gone into a sitting position with her eyes in a slight squint of suspicion. " Where's your degree?" Aya cocked her head, mimicking the question. " Where's my degree?" Ib nodded. "Something that'll prove to me that you qualify as a legit doctor." Aya held a hand up to her lips as if to pose innocence. " What's with the sudden distrust in me, Ms. Ib?" Ib stood silent, just stared in protest before the doctor gave a chuckle. " Okay, If you wish to see it, it's right this way, Ib darling ... "
