(BL) The One That Told A Lie (Text Version)

Prologue 2 - Modimi

   In a very large house in the middle of Japan lived a fairly large family. That family consisted of a mother named Galey, a father named Rios, a young boy named Modimi, three young girls named Athenus, Olyen, and Herllo, and six dogs, one for each family member that lived there, named Millie, Rosy, Reva, Indy, Blakey, and Winter. They all cried, laughed, argued, and loved just like a normal family. But little did the children of Galey and Rios know that their parents had a very big secret.

2127/12/12

   This was the day their son, Modimi, got home-- which was a few days after the second semester ended at the American private high school he was attending. When Modimi entered the house he was greeted by his younger sisters and all 6 dogs. After he greeted everybody he went up to his room with his dog Reva right behind him and stopped right outside his bedroom. He slowly opened the double doors to his room. When they were wide open he took in the familiar sight of his room.

   The large room had a loft and high ceilings. The walls were turquoise with some red brick peeking out from under it while the floor was a nice medium toned hardwood. The loft was occupied by a large California king size bed with black cotton sheets and grey cotton pillows that sat on a large black and white rug next to a very large desk with 3 computer screens and the latest holographic keyboard. The ground floor was where a large white couch that could sit up to 8 people and 4 white recliner chairs sat around a glass table with a black base.

   When he finished taking in the site of his room he noticed that Reva had ran in and jumped onto his bed. He chuckled slightly as he walked into his room and laid down on the bed. He slept about two hours only to realize that his parents hadn't come by to welcome him home.

   He jumped out of his bed and ventured around the house looking for them. A time later, he gave up. "Does anybody know where Mom and Dad are?" Modimi yelled through the house.

   "I'm pretty sure they said that they were going out and wouldn't be back till about 11 at night," the oldest of his younger sisters, Athenus, yelled back to him.

   Right when Athenus finished speaking he received a text from an unknown number. The text read,

     From: Hello Modimi, the eldest child of Galey and Rios. I have some bad news about your parents. Your parents, well, they have been captured and taken as prisoners.

    To: Who is this? I'm not falling for some stupid joke. Was his immediate response. The nerve of some people!

    From: That is confidential. It seems they haven't told you. Well you see, Modimi, your parents aren't actually realtors, the number replied.

   To: Do you think I'm an idiot? They are realtors. I've seen their offices and work space. I've seen the documents and heard them dealing with clients. I've even been to some of their business meetings.

   From: Well the position of realtors during the day is a hoax. In actuality, they work as secret agents.

   To: So, you're telling me that my parents, Galey and Rios, are using the job as realtors to cover up the fact that they are actually secret agents? Do you really expect me to believe that garbage?

   Soon after Modimi sent that message the unknown number sent two pictures. One was of an office he has never seen before with his parents' names on the door, while the other photo was of his parents in a dark room tied up in chairs barely able to move a muscle. He stared at the photos for a while until the number sent another message that read,

    From: Do you believe me now? If not your parents might have something on one of their computers explaining it because before you were born I told them to make something for you just in case something like this ever happened.

   To: Yes I believe you. But I have one question. Who are you?

   From: Oh right I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Clover, I'm an assistant agent for Galey and Rios that are spies for The Moluccas.

  To: Well nice to meet you Clover. Now what do you know about what happened to my parents?
