Hazel's POV.
Hi, my name is Hazel Jane. I look like the most happiest teen in the world don't I? Smile plastered on my face, eyes all sparked up with joy and happiness. Long black straight hair, tan skin. Tall and average, Brown eyes and a big smile. Well then sorry to tell you this but you are dead wrong. A normal 15 year old would be in a relationship, going on dates, partying, shopping etc. Well I'm not a normal teen, you see I'm diagnosed with depression, I just hide the expression and feeling of it from everyone. I've been depressed since I was 4. My parents divorced and I didn't like that fact, my mom was already busy in life and my dad always drowned his pain in beer ever since. I live with my aunt Nancy. She's been like a mom to me, supportive and caring. Brown curly hair with black eyes and a bright real smile on her face. Speaking of moms, I forgot to mention, when I was 9 my mom committed suicide. and I didn't find out until I was 10. So that made my depression worse. She committed Suicide because she was unhappy in life, she lost me and her husband and had a miscarriage before having me. My father on the other hand is doing time in prison for drug overdose and driving while drinking. I only have Nancy as my family. I don't have friends because I tend to usually just hide away and hope nobody finds me. But tomorrow I start High school again so, maybe it will be different this year.
