Once there was a beautiful young butterfly. This butterfly could see a door, a door that was far out of reach and was surrounded by eagles and snakes that wanted her dead. The butterfly was surrounded by eagles at home and snakes at school. Everyone wanted her gone. But the butterfly still showed her beauty to the world. She smiled despite her being sad. She shone despite everyone dimming her light. But one day the snakes and eagles got to her. The butterfy's wings shattered. She could not fly. The door was fading out of view. The girl cried for she knew what was being that door. Her freedom. Her happiness. It was all taken away from the people she knew. Her family of eagles constantly tore her down physically and emotionally. The snakes at school bullied her, beat her up and refused to stop outside of school.
This butterfly had enough.
The door was cracking for the door had no use, no use to a flightless butterfly. The butterfly climbed over the railing of the school roof and fell. The door, her hopes and dreams all broken down by people who surrounded her. People loved this butterfly....friends who tried to protect her but couldn't. This butterfly is a person. Butterflies are fragile and so are we.
