Jack's POV
We'd never argued. Not all these months, until now. It was my fault really I mean I shouldn't of yelled and I shouldn't of even bought the topic up. With Alex pretty much running the whole music store whilst I had my part time teaching job at the local school, music of course, none of the jobs were really done around the house. I came back late from work last night after being stressed out by 9th Graders asking pathetic questions through class and with a butt load of marking to do and now I was actually doing the marking schemes whilst Alex was probably sat crying over it again, dammit. It got to 4am when I felt two arms wrap around me, "Watcha doing?" He asked furrowing both his thick eyebrows until they almost touched when I leaned head back into him and held onto his arms. "So beautiful." I sighed before feeling his warm lips press down into my skin several times, fighting back a moan. "Come to bed Jay, we can go through those sheets together tomorrow." I probably should of stood my grounds and stayed up but no I turned my laptop off and got into bed with him, instantly jumping onto his hips. "I'm sor-" Okay then, hot make out session it is, this was better than arguing again.
"Remember when we got noise complaints?" I pondered which made Alex giggle, fucking giggle and now was not the time. "That one was your fault. You decided to blare out Family Reunion on Record store day. Douche." Had he really just called me a douche? "You're gonna regret that one, Gaskarth." I wasn't sure why but calling him by his last name made his ears prick up instantly. His facial expression gave away that he was thinking deeply about something, "Bara-fag." Alex's voice was deep and his eyes squinting in a joking manner. "Heeey that's not fair. I wasn't mean!" But just after complaining I jabbed into each side of his ribs and watched him jump, breaking his emotionless face and replacing it with a grin he'd tried so hard to hide.
It took us what must of been half an hour to stop fighting and punching each other and honestly Alex's punches kinda hurt, even though he really wasn't anything more than stick thin. "You know we haven't seen Tay in a few months.." There I went, thinking out loud again and becoming a mood killer. "Three months Jay, we've called her almost everyday since." He sighed before moving to get changed and head downstairs. "Where're you going?" Groaning as I found my balance using my own feet. "To make you happy for a change." There was no emotion, no kiss goodbye or long hug like usual before he would leave. Just a death cold feel in the room.
