"Hey, Lucifer?" Alex questioned the archangel as she walked into the bunker's sitting room where mentioned archangel was with Gabriel and Cas.
"Yes Alex?" The bad but good now archangel questioned with a raised eyebrow as he was picking through one of the many tomes the bunker held. Cas was trying to get acquainted with a laptop with Gabriel's help.
They weren't having much luck.
"Did you happen to create an app in order to torture us mere mortals, or was it some other douchebag?" Alex questioned, cocking her hip and crossing her arms over her chest, getting straight to the point.
"Alex, language." Gabriel warned half heartily from his spot next to Castiel.
You may be confused as to who Alex is, well, she's Gabe's kid. Shocking right? Gabriel sent her an "if you get this I'm dead" video and told her to find the Winchesters and help them. A thirteen year old girl helping stop the apocalypse? Impossible. A thirteen year old nephilim with elemental abilities helping? Slightly more doable. You see, Gabriel hooked up with an elemental hunter and they had Alex, then her mom died, Gabe took care of her until she was thirteen and that's when Gabe died. She found the guys and the rest is history.
That girl has the ability to bend air and water with simple movements and the uncanny ability to put together an Ikea shelf.
Amazing.
Since the angels fell, three things had happened. One, Gabriel was brought back from the dead. Two, Lucifer was let out of the cage with no intention of destroying the world. Three, Flappy Bird was invented.
"Why would I do that?" Lucifer asks calmly before resuming looking through tome and sets it on the table next to him.
Alex gets a wicked twinkle in her blue eyes before tucking a strand of blue and blonde hair behind her ear. Yes she dyed it, what did you think? That she was born with blue hair? Are you crazy?
"So you wouldn't mind playing this for a while?" She asks him innocently while holding out her phone. Lucifer shrugs before taking the phone from her, reading the instructions, and starting the game. Alex decides that she doesn't want to be around when he figures out how evil the game is, so she heads to her room and turns on "The Phoenix" by Fall Out Boy on her iPod and sets the shuffle for the whole album.
You're a brick tied to me that's dragging me down...
An hour later,
...just one yesterday.
Alex grabs her iPod and heads to the sitting room, hoping that Lucifer might have calmed down from whatever emotional trauma that Flappy Bird may have given him.
When she gets there she sees Lucifer reading another tome, smaller than the one before while Cas and Gabriel are nowhere to be seen, though Sam and Dean are smirking in her direction. The seventeen year old shoots them a confused glance but they turn back to the laptop in Sam's case and a burger in Dean's.
"Luci, where's my phone?" She asks him, unsure whether to run, hide, or reach for her angel blade.
Lucifer gestures to the pile of glass and other mechanical objects on the ground in front of him. She looks from the pile to Lucifer back and forth for a while before she responds.
"You pulverised my phone." She states carefully.
Lucifer gives a sorry-not-sorry smile and shrugs. "That game has Abaddon written all over it." He adds, "and don't call me Luci."
Alex just pinches the bridge of her nose before sighing and asking, "what was your high score?"
"...sixty six"
