Eve's POV

I stepped out of the hospital building, after treating several of my patients that went undergo. To be honest, today was an awful day. Several patients threw broken chairs across the room, followed by eerie grins from others.

"Shit." I muttered. I realized that I forgot my goddamn car. I was shivering for god sakes. I put my cold hands on my face, whilst thinking of what else to think of. Take the bus, borrow a car, steal one. Wait, I should. I scanned the parking lot for any cars that weren't ahold by others.

My eyes caught ahold of a green Lamborghini.

I grinned widely, grabbing my bobby pin, causing my bangs to fall on my aspect. I grazed over the car door, simply grabbing the lock that made it hold together. I accessed the bobby pin in the lock causing the car to let go a series of sirens. I quickly took of my coat, jamming it in the car.

I rearranged the wires for a bit before starting the car.

A few years ago, I was in a gang that forced me to kidnap innocent girls that roamed around the streets late at night. I refused to but they would kill me or kill my family members that were also innocent. So I had to agree. Since then. . . I felt unwanted.

I parked the car on the side of the street, hearing my stomach grumble a bit. I grab the coat from the passengers seat beside me, stepping out of the car.

The eatery across the street made the noises in the stomach grow louder and louder. I entered the small eatery, unwanting the customers to get a sight from me. I caught ahold of the menu before the petite waitress assigned me to a seat.

Momentarily, the meal came out all of a sudden, before dusk was set. It was dark outside, and it started to drizzle lightly. The fog on the window grew and I wiped it with my calloused fingertips creating a hole through the hard glass. I felt the glass with my hands, creating a hand mark on the glass.

I stared out the glass seeing the dusk night. The midnight lights on the street flickered and a shadow crept up a building. The figure settled there and crept on two business men carrying heavy suitcases. I assume there were heavy since the other business man was helping the other. My eyes wandered the building again, scanning my eyes to find the figure but all of a sudden it disappeared in the dim moonlight.

I shortly found the disappearing figure, hiding behind the lamppost. Every time, I would take a bite of my meal, it would move back and forward from its spot. I promptly sit up from my seat before the shadow would abandon its hiding spot anytime soon. Luckily, I saw it stalk those business men.

I figured that there was either a valuable item in those two suitcases that the men were carrying or either an important file, I perhaps. Because that figure wouldn't be out late at night, or at least dusk, to be snooping around. Somehow, I seemed curious about this figure snooping late at night.

To be honest, the figure was tall and it had tattoos on his biceps, and under its shirt, everywhere basically. Every time it would cross a lamppost I would see his torso filled with sorts of ink on his arms, stomach, and chest. But it covered his torso. Barely any clear skin I could see that wasn't filled with different sorts of tattoos was found by me.

I couldn't make up if he gave up or what, but the two men left it in there cars, causing the dim figure to create some sort of way to ransack one of there cars. He opened the car door, leaving it ajar. He crouched down taking a look of the bare suitcases.

He shook his head in discontent, before taking several loads of cash, I suppose it was. He then, took files or papers that I guess it cost about millions. He turned to run off the street but he took a hault before realizing that someone else could see him. Someone who was curious.

Me of course.

He turned around, impelling his eyes until he found eye contact with mine. His jade eyes were seen and the smirk plastered on his face was seen also. He turned around once, again running off to someplace else. I let go of trouble, from myself before entering a series of thoughts and integration. Maybe he was a police officer? No maybe a magician?

I continuously shook my head outnumbered my awful thoughts. Boy, oh how I sat there for a long period of time before paying the bill. After I handed the waitress the bill I had to "severely" pay, I decided on walking home, since I realized the mysterious figure earlier stole it.

"Hey need a ride?" My high heels clacked on the pavement continued before my head faced a guy from his 30's.

"No thanks, I'm fine." I refused, facing my back to him once again. I shook my head multiple times, tensing my pace a bit. His loud cackles grew louder before my pace soon turned faster. I knew the car was slowly following me, by hearing the gas run up again.

"You sure, hot miss?" I chuckled slightly at his nickname before shooting a 'no'.

"Awww. . . Why not?"

"No, please. Just. . ." I trailed off before getting him pissed.

"Come on, ju-"

"She said no, mister."

The first thing I noticed was his jade eyes that stood out. But honestly his bicep had muscle and he was understatedly sexy. His jawline stood out the most, followed by the curly hair that covered his aspects. He gritted his teeth not knowing who he was but I knew that he was the figure that stood behind the building, that stalked those two men, who seemed like a magician.

"Just get out of here, because no one even cares about you, man. Just leave." He persuaded still letting him make an option whenever he should leave or not.

"Dude, dude, dude. The girl doesn't even know ya. I think she belongs to me."

Soon then, I knew that things were getting a bit out of hand. The cocky stranger soon grabbed my wrist tearing me away, from the awful stranger. I rolled my eyes and asked if I can go. Or whatsoever.

"You know what? I'm nobody's okay. Just let me go." I muttered, before pulling my wrist back to myself.

"Hey you alright?"
